During our entire trip, Joel wanted to get this song under an olive tree - like the one in the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus would have prayed for us. We were exhausted, but our team had found the perfect location-the third location of the day. We set up the full record system and went for it. What we got we feel is a little bit special-and hopefully it captures what Jesus may have thought about us in His last moments. The whole experience in Israel was surreal and even the thought of Jesus thinking of us as He lived His last moments is confronting.

One day i cry myself to sleep because of brokenness and around midnight while I was sleeping an beautiful Angel appear to me and was singing over me one of the most beautiful song I never heard before, as I’m embracing it and singing along, I heard a voice saying: tell Hillsong that I’m not done with them yet , the enemy is trying to silence them but there is still songs to be born from them that I’m going to use for My Glory to bring millions into My Kingdom… and this song you just heard will be a new song I will put in their hearts to bring out. Tell them to keep on going . IM WITH THEM. Then I realized it was Jesus speaking to me.

It was a dream..
I was in a huge green pasture with beautiful rolling hills just walking around with a lot of dirty people and we were all praying for each other. As we're praying a loud voice started signing so we all joined in on the song "Closer Than You Know", that I have personally never heard before.
While we were worshiping I felt a man tap my shoulder so I turned around and he was point up while the verse of the song was

As we’re looking up we can see the most beautiful sight. The only way I can describe it was several massive golden bars floating in the sky glistening like beautiful diamonds.. We were all crying because Jesus was giving us a sign they he is near and not to worry about the constant chaos in the world today.
Then I instantly woke up and realized I was listening to Hillsong United on my ear buds. The most bizarre part of the dream was that I've never heard that Sony before and the fact that the man tapped on my shoulder right before the specific verse about lifting up your eyes and notice that Heaven is closer than you know is just nothing short of a vision from God himself. :)

Hello I am from México, I heard that song last night for The first Time, and while I was listening to It I start remember when I was a teenager and for The first Time in my life I felt The touch of God's Hand, He tap my back, It was so real, I was going through a hard moment at that Time and I was asking him desperately to take control of this Situation and putting all on His hands. When I start crying loud then he put His Hand on me, instantely I stop crying and great peace came to me and I have never cry for that reason again, I never felt that before in my life, and now that I am going through a difficult Time again all this came to my mind while I was listening to that song AND I know It was God once again talking to me and telling me he Is in control and everything Will be fine because he Is with me in every moment. When I read your testimony I start crying because I dont know, God confirms that what I felt last night with that song was Him indeed ❤️, I had to create my Chanel in TH-cam just to share this with you because Is a beutiful testimony and God Is talking to all of His people and Let us know he Is with us in all of this. I almost lost everything recently because of my drug addiction. I overdosed in my car in town and a pedestrian found me, broke out my window and had gave me narcan to bring me back to life. She told me God loved me when I came to. I know the Lord has a plan, I’m just struggling to hang on at times. God is faithful though, and I’m trusting Him.

I overdosed about 18 times from fentanyl here in canada. I can relate with you totally. I just got off a long morphine prescription that they put me on to get me off fent so now I am totally sober. I feel such shame for the wasted years going my own way instead of gods, he forgives us bad sheep though. Peace

Laying in the darkness of my room listening to this just now, an overwhelming realization came to me as I listened that in those dark hours on the cross He bore my loneliness, my isolation, my separation so that I could now feel the peace of His love over me. I wept...it was a direct response from Him to my prayers concerning my past I had only minutes before spoke before I was prompted to find this song in particular. Jesus already paid ( having traded places with us) for the dark nights of our souls...we are so exquisitely loved, right now, and have been for thousands of years! I was molested at the age of 7, I never processed it as a teenager, or even as a young man. My walk with the Lord revealed to me that the moment I chose to never speak of, could very well be responsible for the mentality I developed towards sex, women, perversion, and sexual immoral endeavors, like Pornography. But there is no pity necessary here today, yesterday, or tomorrow, for I stand here today Redeemed in Christ Jesus, I stand firm in his Glory, I stand tall in the redemption of my past transgressions. The Lord pulled me away from the worst things about myself, and the more I dove into Christ, the more those things began to fall away, by the sanctity of my Salvation.
I’m not perfect, but I’m here to speak over any man woman or child today that stood face to face with that DEMON OF PERVERSION, and you walked out of that room, you walked from his or her grasp, you went on to live in confusion, and doubt.
