First game was nice. In the second game when black attacked your bishop on c4 with his pawn you had two good retreats, Bb3 when your bishop stays on an active diagonal pointing at blacks king or Be2 which is less active but helps defending your king. You played Bd3 where you bishop is blocked by your e4 pawn and the bishop blocks the d2 pawn what makes it harder for the other bishop to come into the game. Be careful to place your pieces in a way where they don't disturb each others development. I had to smile at 9:00. Black played f5, preparing to open the f-file for his rook. Your king still on f2. Instead of bringing your king back you played Qf3 when your queen is also alined with blacks rook. Then you say, you know you wanted to bring your king to safety .... black played fxe and you noticed that you gonna loose your queen. You know you should have focused on king safety, you mentioned it but you failed to follow your knowledge. Use your knowledge. It doesn't help your chess when you know a lot of stuff but don't apply it in your games. Also notice, had you placed your bishop on b3, blacks f-pawn would have been pinned and f5 wouldn't have been possible. It's great that after Qd4+ you didn't automatically moved your king to the side but checked for other moves. Sad that you missed Nxd4 simply taking blacks queen. At 12:36 black had a very famous check mate pattern called smothered mate. After you played Kg1 black should have contiuned with Nh3++ Kh1 Qg1+!! Rxg1 Nf2 mate. You should check that out.
Definitely a ton of things to reflect on from the game mainly being fundamentals and tactics usage. I’m looking at ways to remain consistent even if I’m not playing as much. Also the smothered mate idea was pretty cool to play out 🤯

Might just do a subscriber celebration thing to celebrate the people who followed along the way 🤔
At 16:55 your opponent had smothered checkmate but missed it, Kg1 Nh3+ Kh1 Qg1+ Rxg1 Nf2#
I did not even realize this until it was mentioned a couple times 🤔👀
