    Dear Nin, I just wanted to tell you that you did a wonderful job with this video. You are so kind and respectful to this lady. You set a beautiful example for all of us. I’m sorry for all the hate the DissociaDID system gets. You’re all very brave and doing amazing work with your educational videos. You are teaching not just about mental health disorders and how to cope, but also how to be a decent human being that can stand tall under backlash and reproach with dignity and grace. Truly inspiring.
    Stay safe and stay kind you wonderful people!

      Al Wa yes, she has a video coming out as trans (ftm), but in the video she says the phrase:
      “do I think I’m transgender? 1000%”
      “But do I identify as my natural born gender? Yes 1000%”
      It’s a horrible video, I don’t recommend watching it. But there’s a few commentary videos on it- ImAllex has an amazing one if you’re interested
      Ironically, in that video, she mentions gender neutral pronouns (they/them) and says that because “they” must mean more than one person (her words not mine), and she doesn’t have multiple personality disorder (did), so she refuses to accept gender neutral pronouns for herself. Which is wrong for so many reasons- namely- that’s not what it means to use gender neutral pronouns lmao. But…here we are a couple of months later with her coming out as someone with DID lol

      After that video she met and became friends with a trans woman named Blaire White. Trisha actually said that she misunderstood what it meant to be trans and apologized for saying something that was offensive to the community. I still think Trisha is crazy and something is wrong, but she did apologize

    She also identifies as trans, but is incredibly uneducated on the trans community and said people who use they/them pronouns "seem like they have multiple personality disorder", which is both transphobic and wrong about DID. She's really harmful and people shouldn't take her as a reliable source.

They could have known me for 6 years, I never let them see my symptoms, but as soon as I confide in them and they find out, they say I'm a "monster". That I "don't deserve to live with such thoughts". That I'm "possessed". How am I supposed to find worth in my life when everyone sees me as an animal? My last close relationship ended with me being forced into a car and left alone in a hospital parking lot at 3 in the morning. I'm thrown away like a diseased stray dog. Idk, maybe it’s an unpopular opinion but I feel like people who self diagnose ARE less valid. With that I don’t mean that their feelings aren’t valid but we have to stop treating mental illnesses so much more lightly than physical illnesses. I can’t diagnose myself with cancer so Trisha can’t diagnose DID. I’ve been diagnosed with chronical mental and physical illnesses alike and everytime someone mentions they self diagnosed, i just don’t even know what to say anymore. Especially bc I’ve seen a lot of people obviously faking DID. I don’t have DID and I don’t know about it in depth but when someone tells me they have schizophrenia, which is not the same, and how they basically invent magical OCs and stuff, I wanna cry

    Trisha is “self-diagnosing” as if she does not have the resources available to visit professionals & get a proper diagnosis for whatever the hell she has. It’s like a big slap in the face for those who really can’t afford to visit a therapist or DID professional or do not have those resources readily accessible.

    • @amed9476
      @amed9476 4 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Not that I agree with what Trisha is doing at all, but in general in regards to people who can afford to access mental health professionals, a lot of the time there are other reasons they may not do so (certain demographics are less likely to because of cultural reasons or because they're been raised thinking mental illness or struggle is weaknes; others are unable because their community lacks resources; others may be too afraid to go, or their mental illness may actually prevent them from going, etc). To idea of finances as the only possible barrier to health care is incredibly uneducated.

      @michellecerna6262 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      A med I agree with you 100%. Thanks for pointing that out to me because all of the reasons that you’ve stated are certainly big factors as to why people don’t seek mental health professionals or speak up about the struggles more often. But the only reason why I looked at it from a financial perspective is because it’s clear to not only myself but to everyone that watched her content, that she is pretty comfortable with talking about her varying mental illnesses. On top of that (just for better context as I probably should have clarified before posting this comment) I typed this after she posted stuff on her IG stories & the new video up on her channel since it was trending on other social platforms. She said she had already seeked help and was diagnosed.

    I was diagnosed with DPRD but not DID and as someone who depersonalizates multiple times a day… Being called crazy is literally a heart dropper. Because a common side effect (doesnt apply to everyone although common) is feeling anxiety during dissociation because u get a “crazy” like feeling.. u literally feel crazy. Idk if that makes sense and it probably doesnt apply to DID but just wanted to say do not call someone crazy unless u 100% understand, which u never 100% understand unless ur in those exact shoes.

      I have never been diagnosed with a dissociative disorder, but pretty sure from what I understand I have dissociated and specifically depersonalized a lot in my older teenage years, while I was just generally struggling with a lot of things. (Mainly undiagnosed and quite severe ADHD, which at this point has been diagnosed by a psychiatrist, as well as resulting depression and anxiety)
      Absolutely agree on getting that crazy feeling during depersonalization. It felt like I was watching someone else control my body and feel my emotions - not like an alter, but just not feeling fully there or in my body, sometimes for days at the time. I only found out that there is a name for this experience way later, and I don't want to say I had it 100%, since it's been years and I can't quite remember what it felt like, I just remember it being really scary and feeling like I was more of a ghost witnessing things from within.

    “Don’t ever call someone with a mental illness crazy”
    you know for the longest time I didn’t know why crazy was something bad to say. I mean I didn’t ever say it to anyone but i know now why we don’t say it.
    I struggle with crippling self image and have had very very bad thoughts because of it. When ever I have panic attacks all I can think of is voices of people I know saying “you’re crazy” and I can’t get those thoughts out my head.
    Support people be there for them and don’t ever think you’re worth nothing and no one would care if you weren’t here. People love you people care about You and if no one does know that I always will. All of us will. We all need you ❤
    That includes you DissociaDID

    ok, so i've read a famous comment, and im not copying it, i just wanna do a summary
    Trisha is:
    asian
    non-binary
    cis woman
    trans man
    gay man
    jewish
    hispanic
    a chicken nugget
    bisexual woman
    has DID
    she's a lesbian
    and she was married to a cardboard cut-out of Brad Pitt
    conclusion- Trisha is just a troll trying to get everyone's attention, since she is so rich that she doesn't know what to do with her life anymore.

    I found the DissociaDID channel through the Anthony Padilla video, and I've been hooked on everything ever since. I have been binge watching videos, and I still don't know the correct way to say everything but: everyone single alter you have displayed has been amazing to me. I love the respect that is shown outwardly between each alter for other alters, and that is displayed to the rest of the world. Nin, you and everyone else are doing an phenomenal job of educating the world and I hope you are still able to protect your system. I have been raving about everything I've learned from you to anyone who will listen. Please try not to let uninformed or ignorant comments get to you too much, and block any threats. ❤️❤️ Lots of love from Canada, and I hope you are staying safe during the pandemic.
