I suggest taking the cable off of the bike for easier lubing. That way you can lube it from both ends. I have been able to save two really stuck throttle wires on these bikes that most people probably would have thrown in the bin.
You're going to snap the ball off of the end of it if you "keep muscling it" for more stuck application. I would recommend letting it sit for a while then try to slowly pull the lever, don't pull as hard as possible. Nice video otherwise this will help a lot of newcomers.
Thank you for your feed back, multiple perspectives are always appreciated. I've never broken a cable luckily. I'm sure that it is possible to give it too much muscle though.

Hi! i just got a bike like yours, but my back wheel has a hard time turning, almost like the brakes are pressing in on it by default. the thing you say should move, moves a little bit. i think the cable is very tight like its almost too short or something, got any fixes? or explanations?

Agreed, another strategy is to take them off and hang them up after lubing. There are many different ways to do this.
I need to install a new throttle cable on my fa50. Any hints on how to do this?

It may be either a bad break cable or maybe you should take the back wheel off and check if the break pads broke inside causing it to be too tight.
any way i can check if its either or the other without having to take the wheel off or ordering a new cable? thanks for the response.
if i take the cable off at the back and see if the problem still is there?
