I think I was in class 7 when I saw this in DD National at 9 PM. I think the year was 1998. My friend looked like Bharat and I used to call him Inspector Bharat. Much later in my life almost only in 2022 while listening to so many countless detective stories in different youtube channels, I think I discovered the inspiration of this episode of Suraag. There was once a police officer named Priyonath Mukherjee during British India, who had written many stories based on his real life experiences. The books are still available as Darogar Daptar/Daroga Priyonath. In one of his stories he mentioned of a similar case where a girls body was discovered in a suitcase after she died a brutal death. The moment I heard this story and how the culprits were caught in that story, I thought of this episode from my childhood. A subtle smile played on my face at finally having been able to decode my childhood favourite Inspector’s probable source of inspiration. 🕵️ 😅

सोमवार वाले दिन रात मे 10 बजे आता था ये शो पूरे एक घंटे का होता था एक घंटे मे कहनी फाईनल होती थी बहुत मजा आता था देखने मे लेकिन कई बार लाईट भाग जाती थी तो शो खत्म होने के बाद आती थी बडा गुसा आता था लाईट वालो पे पर सीरियल देखने में बहुत मजा आता था
