If you look on the inside wall of the pivot, near the ratcheting mechanism, there is a track and pin. The pin follows the track and once it reaches the end the pin skips back, which allows the ratchet to release. What's happening is that pin is wearing that track out and it skips. You can actually get a metal file in there and square off the edge of the track. That will provide a permanent (or more permanent) fix.
Hi, the side covers has a rounded tab inside to hold them onto the main body. Please look at the clip 5:23 to see the covers tab. Both side cover has a rounded tab inside, in the centre, so need to pull out slowly.
@@kngallery208 i tried for 1 hour before finally making it and i fixed it and the next day the mehanisum broke again i threw the whole armrest out the window i cant deal with cheaply made plastic bs things man but thnk for u ur time and help the world needs more people like you have a great day sir
