i am Swiss and i totally agree with you, but this will never happen. The EU is deeply liberal Organization and is not democratic at all but very much governed by a few very powerful people in the back, and they stand above any law and are accountable to no one. The EU since 2008 was politically siding with the US preparing this war by further escalating it and advising Ukraine to widen the conflict. f.x. stopping sweat water supply to Crimea right in 2014 and many other incidents. Normal people would take a humble approach when leaving an over 1000 year long historical neighborly bond. Ukraine, resp. the US Puppets set in place where doing the exact opposite since the 2014 Coup. they where aggressively searching to put their demands through in Russia, like demanding the Crimean Military installations which always belonged to Russia and was built by them. it`s like if Florida wanted to join Cuba, demanding neighboring states.
