Lecce & Taranto Easter vigil Puglia 2024 Part 3

Good Friday easter festival in Lecce was humbling and left us feeling a little overwhelmed with the atmosphere in the air, Lecce is a beautiful city with stunning buildings throughout its narrow streets. we would love to re visit one day.
Taranto is a strange little town, split into a poverty side and a well to do side. we tour the city and see it from a local guide who made the experience very pleasant, you will only need 3 or 4 hours in Taranto and is best discovered by car rather than train to get the most out of the experience.
