A "reverse 4-0" in reference to tournament play is if one player wins 3 in a row then the opponent wins 4 in a row to win the set.
I was wondering if anyone was going to say this.
In general a reverse sweep is 2 sets. 7-0 skunk and u get his lick back by also 7-0 ur opponent.

In Gaia deck you could use fusion armament to summon the synchro Gaia blaze to fusion the other Gaia blaze
Combo that with Miracle Synchro Fusion.

Dieon actually had several ways to take momentum in Game 3 regardless of what Sam did, if he summoned Verte he'd have been able to put up a very strong wall that Sam would be forced to used Guardian to pop because Dieon had the archetypal Monster Reborn on field.
I literally skipped through half of Sam's turns to avoid watching him embarrass himself because I built Chimera with the same restriction blind and was already comboing better than Sam is by the 5th Duel lmao
And he still won
Seereax couldve used BLS cards in his gaia deck. They do actually reference eachother.

Juat looked it up in the wiki and in the anime, Yugi NEVER used raigeki, it's only used once, in episode 75, by possessed Joey Wheeler, ironically to destroy gazelle the king of mystical beasts.
My head canon is that Seereax is soo good at the game that The Pharaoh himself has come to duel him through Sam but Sam still has control of his mouth so he trash talks while the Pharaoh plays for him
SeeReax already cooked Sam to the point where even the title of the video is messed up.
I love how seereax wasn’t allowed to use nightmare for half his duels with that card and when he was able to they agreed he wouldn’t use his effects
I was under the impression that they were only allowed to play it as a vanilla illusion to facilitate the chimera fusions.

I have been watching Dzeef videos, and I really think them doing the blind secret/master pack pulls would really help with the debate of having "fair" deck builds.
For the Chimera deck, take out Guardian Chimera and Patchwork package for the illusion monsters that mention OG Chimera.
I think in the last one they talked about adding the illusions would make it too powerful, though I may be misremembering
@@malis6449 Thats correct. Having a monster and spell and trap negate would have made the deck too strong so they went with the illusion magician monster. If they had the other cards it would also go away from the original intention of the challange of using 'yugi archtype cards'.
I seem to recall that the extra deck was free game for both of them? Then they can have additional 6 tech cards right? Those cards fit nicely there.
@dazzabarloola I don't think yugi played most of the Gaia cards deion was playing, but then there is the argument that they are support for the Gaia deck right. Well the same can be said for the Illusion cards. They are support for the chimera deck, Why shouldn't they be played in the chimera deck then?
@@malis6449 Patchwork is a +1 that gives you poly and Chimera is a pop 1-2 either turn because of chimera fusion so I can argue those are better than a monster negate an a target negate

i think if you actively use counter cards to counter a deck... better explaination for de fuse would be it allows you to attack three times instead of saying its a counter... should make the decks for all use and not different

Sam playing cards to directly counter Seereax and then immediately capping that he's not cheating is the most on brand Sam thing
If Sam was doing this, then Deion would have the same exact chance to do the same. Plus it would show that he is the better player since he knows how to counter a deck, which inherently means he understands the deck. Don't be a DDR.
I have enjoyed these the most, not running other engines, keeping things pure. Great videos. I always like playing as pure as possible and don't like mixing archetypes

Also seereax could use a lot more gaia cards he didnt use, chaos field spell let's you add a gaia, also 45 cards for a deck that does not draw is not good, also pot of desires is a yugi's card from scripted duels, could use 1-2 as you play 3x each basic card. However, I really enjoyed the duel! But im really waiting for the magnets duel! Please! I really want to see imperion magnum raid boss

The Gaia synchros arent actual Gaia support, its just a sort of reimagining of Gaia the Fierce Knight. They arent meant to be played together
Also assume all extra deck monsters need to be properly specialed first before being able to revive them lol

@@leoultimaupgraded9914 you'd need cards to reduce levels, have proper tuners, gaia itself doesnt work that way. Its whole job is playing second and getting upper hand with level 7s. If its synchro was say level 12 or 10, maybe.

You can cheat Gaia blaze out with a fusion armament which would have reduced the amount of cards in your deck making it much more consistent

Seereax was more accurate on what reverse sweep is lol. But if youre playing say first to 4 a reverse sweep would happen when one person wins 3 games in a row and then the other player wins the next 4 games in a row. Sam meant to say reverse sweep, ive never really heared someone say "I reversed you"
I havent watched all the way but as a heads up you can fusion out Cursed Dragon fusion boss than he readds spiral fusion and lets you fusion from gy with the last mats. It lets you get another body on field when setting up lethal. Nvm there where more problems than this after getting halfway through.

Looking at both decks, seereax gaia deck is more creative in its playing style, using strategies I've never seen before. While sam's style is always more straightforward with magical cylinder, raigeki to curb opponents. But then again its a good play

It's a shame we'll never actually get to know if the best decks made it into the tournament. SeeReax just decided the bracket by simply being better.
Decks accurate as possible, Yugi plays Edge Imp and Frightfur engine.😂 Better all the illusion package as the support deck was created, it would be more DM oriented

It make me sad how people don’t understand how to play Gaia. You don’t go into the boss first, you get out the curse of dragon fusion first then go for the boss. This way you have another attacker incase Gaia can’t finish.
