Juan, I really have a fondness for the Orks! They were my favorite even back in the Rouge Trader days when I first started 40K. I have painted a few of them to say the least. This Ork has an Evil Sunz bias. The old epub file 'How To Paint Citadel Miniatures Orks' advises that you paint your ork leather top and cloth - black but I don't think it works, your Cygor Brown works better, in the book they recommend for the pants Mourfang->Agrax Earth Shade->Skrag Brown which may also work. Also your skin schema is great and a great alternative to ye old Waaargh Flesh-> Biel Tan -> Warboss -> Skarsnik Green.
Thanks, I was in doubt as to what to use for the pants and top, but I think brown is the way to go. The best thing with Orks is that you can mix and match However you want.

They are in this era. They're anatomically broken and wouldn't be able to walk or stand upright. They haven't always been like this and there are other eras when their backs were not broken with a big butt sticking out.

Bueno, primero pq la serie de vídeos se basa en usar Contrast, pero la verdad es que las Contrast son MUCHO mejores para los metálicos. Yo he dejado de usar Shades para los metales desde que probé las Contrast.
Just an idea, but it would be great if you could do a series on how to paint each of the ork tribes with the contrast paints. Could be another playlist like you have with the marine legions. On an unrelated note, I estimate that this video is going to cost me another £80 or so in paints, models, and paint stands that I need to buy to replicate this. Your videos always cost me a fortune!
Sadly for my Ork Fans I won't be doing any more Orks for 40k as this one felt like a true chore to paint and I prefer to not paint things I don't enjoy, that's why I called this ORKZ and not the specific clan. Sorry

One quick question, when you do edge highlight, how do you keep the paint from drying at the tip of your brush forming a tiny lint? I have this problem every time I do edge highlight. How do you keep your paint flowing at the tip of the brush?
Use a larger brush, I'm guessing you use a very small brush. The bigger the brush the more paint it holds and the longer it lasts fresh. Hope that helps

My ork arms always look streaky. My recipe, white undercoat, plagubearer flesh contrast, Biel tan wash, ogryn cammo highlights.
It's not a bad recipe, maybe thin down the Biel tan a bit with Lahmian

I use them for everything. Just don't let paint get into the ferrule, like with every other paint.

Has anyone tried doing this with a light grey primer for a slightly darker overall look?
If you want a darker overall look try this:
- Prime everything using Mechanicus Standard Grey
- Prime again just from above using Greyseer
