Lucky Bay is stunning! Will definitely be heading there in late summer. Good to see some insights into your van living and life on the road.
It sure is! ☺️ We can’t get enough of Esperance. A summer visit sounds nice! Thanks for the feedback on the vid - we’re looking forward to sharing the next Ep on Saturday
We are fortunate to have visited Lucky Bay but only to walk on the stunning beach. What a brilliant location to start off your Aussie lap. Thoroughly looking forward to following the family adventures and picking up a few tips on the way.
We were grateful to be able to start our trip with a visit to Lucky Bay as we settle into life on the road ☺️
Never been to lucky bay, looks great, yeah back in the day everyone used to wave but nowadays it’s getting less and less, people are anti social
Get it on the list mate! So worth it - we just love Esperance. We’ve found waving 👋very hit and miss on our travels ☹️ I would say WA has the edge over SA at this stage 😉
🎉😢😢😅😅u😅😅uhuhuk
Great spots guys...👍👍👍👍
So lucky to have these beautiful locations ☺️
Have been to Lucky Bay a couple of times, but never stayed. Maybe next time. Thanks for the video.
No worries mate! Yeah we’ve alway wanted to stay there but was always booked. I guess not travelling in school holidays helps tho ☺️
Thanks for sharing
No worries mate! Hope you’re keeping well
you should’ve done free camping at Membinup beach it’s free and as good lucky bay
Awesome! Does look a nice spot. Interestingly Wiki has it listed as a day use are only and no camping permitted
Lifestyle pioneers just stayed there about a week ago. You just have to be fully self-contained. When we stay there. There was about 14 caravans actually on the beach camping. We stayed for three nights.
Nice one
Hello, I am very interested to know what your current GCM weight is with the van and loaded is?
Wondering the benefits and why a certified GVM would be required instead of just installing a upgradded suspension kit, being GCM can't be exceeded.
Cheers
Hi. We’re around 6300kg fully loaded with passengers. If running a tray/canopy set up like us and you’re towing, you’ll easily exceed your GVM unless you have it increased. Not sure if you’ve watched our Pedders suspension video, but I explain this in a little more detail. Even if running the standard tub, there can be benefits to getting the GVM increased depending on what you’re towing and the ball weight of the van. We tested the standard suspension towing with our last van and found it too soft for towing.
