I thought the bren 2 in 762x39 would be the ultimate platform for the cartridge. Sold mine during the plandemic (for a small mint) I actually liked my 12" VZ58 better, but the PWS mk111 mod 2 is the best 762x39 platform ( Duramags only!) I have the old style JP captured spring, most steel case can be fired on setting 2 gas and the recoil impulse is fast but soft some how.

@@ProLapsRacing If you have the cash ( Lord knows we are all a little "short" the last 4 years) buy the Colt 6762 EPR. I had a titanium ×39 firing pin and Xtra power hammer spring in my "parts bin". Colt is using their 90s formula: .135 bolt depth and matching extractor( same as PWS, although the were smart enough to borrow it from Colt) 1 in 12 twist and a .125 gas port/carbine length. This combo is sublime as well but only comes in 16". As for VZ58s: RS regulate Zukov stock adapter and scope sidemount( they are on stock now)Bonesteel forend. Primary arms 2× prism( SLX? older model)

We'll start to receive them soon, also in small numbers so I guess czech armed forces will even notice less 100 or even 200 if we would go crazy, as they told they would fully equip their army first and only latter would sell the Bren 3 to third parties, but as usual nothing is just Black and White.

Spuhr, the same factory which created kits to modernize (in order to accommodate aiming devices, flashlights, lasers, front grips, grenade launchers, you name it) the Swedish and Portuguese (and others as well) H&K G3 A/3 A/4 or AK-4 (swedish mil designation). They also created kits to also modernize for the same effect the Sub.Machine gun H&K MP5.

Probably yes, but sometime in 2026 at the earliest. Bren 3 is exclusively intended for the army and other armed forces, I like it too, but people from CZ told me that first they have to cover the needs of the army and it is very hungry for now. Bren 3 is the result of tests from the war in Ukraine.

you have one in 11'5" no reason for a 12'5'". And I surely agree it's stupid to fire 5.56 from a 7" barrel even in very short CQC combat, I'd rather use the 300 blk in the same 7" size.

I prefer the czech FN. And my country's Army SIR is the SCAR L. Navy, Marines only, H&K416A5. AIr Force SOF, NOTP, CZ BREN 2 and we're already buying CZ BREN 3 to fully phase out H&K G36 KV/KE still used by them. We were told we'll receive them very quickly (not a great batch of them, maybe 100 or less). Yeah but our Armed Forces interoperability and logistics are just fugging stupid, three branches, 4 weapons (the G3 still arms regular navy and Regular Air force Military Police mixed with some G-36 KV/KE, so really in total 5 issued different weapons, not considering newer 7.62x51mm rifles for all branches as DMR/SSR, Airforce Land component and Navy the H&417A2, Army, except Tier 1 with 417A2 and G28's, SCAR H/H-PR - another logistic dumb choice)

Never owned a Bren but a 300 Blackout 7in with a tucker suppressor looks awesome.
I hope they offer it. The collapsable stock 7in is currently only 556. I'd prefer 300 bo tho.
