Lol. i am in the exact same boat. I don't watch Earthspark, don't like good guy megatron, and know nothing about the character. I saw him at walmart recently (he was on sale for like 14 bucks) and just thought it was such a cool design i picked it up. so cool to see him getting reviewed
I never watched earthspark and purposely avoided the toyline, but I can see the appeal of this figure, with definitely a road warrior feel. Great review!
Really Awesome (if small) figure. Believe it or not, I think Bee is a good figure too from this line, has a good transformation. Great review as always!
Cosmos/Weird Al was super confused when he found out Megatron wasn't a bad guy. I need a huge cosmos figure. I don't care for the show much, but Earthspark has a lot of cool figures, Aftermath, Twitch, Nightshade, Thrasher
I’m a bit behind on Earthspark so I haven’t seen this guy yet. But I’ve heard nothing but good things about this toy so when I saw him on Amazon for $14, I figured I’d pick it up. He’s honestly pretty cool. They definitely saved the best for last in the Earthspark line. I hope he gets popular enough to transcend his origins because this toy could definitely stand to get a Voyager sized mainline upgrade.
Thanks for the review. I almost picked this guy up last week when he was on sale, but missed out. Oh well, the money went towards a cybertron Starscream instead and he just arrived today, I really dig him. If this guy pops up for cheap again I may still grab him.

I really love transformers earthspark season 3 was so epic I think I will watch again it even had a 86 reference in it i love all transformers show except for one which that I give it a 4 out of ten for what the original robots in disguise i don’t like what it did to some of the characters and to those 6 Autobot Protoforms But the tf shows i love a lot are G1 Beast wars Beast machines The unicron Trilogy Armada Energon Cybertron And the Aligned continuity Rescue bots Transformers Prime 2015 robots in disguise Rescue bots Academy War for Cybertron Earthrise And kingdom Trilogy And Cyberverse and botbots those are my favorites tf shows and I got that aftermath from tfcon but it’s the Takara version

Couple of the earthspark figures suprised me (like Twitch), not many but a couple. This is one i had to have, that purple, the grill, the gun AWESOME. GREAT REVIEW!
Assuming you meant Twitch surprised you ion a positive way, can you describe how to get the six tabs to hold her drone form's arms and legs and torso together from four different directions at once? I gave up and returned the thing, the only time in my life I did so just for being a badly designed toy, though this guy was close and will be the first to go when it's time for a cull.
I seem to be the only person who got one of these and didn't like him. Having to fight with the shoulders and leg flaps to get the tabs to slot in, the feet repeatedly popping off the ankle clip during the latter process due to the 5mm port's grip on the gun being stronger than the sply peg holdinh them onto toleg, the sides of thje torso's tendency to unclip off that little slot that's supposed to keep them in place when posing the shoulders, and then the squashed, cartoony vehicle mode with its tiny cab and big ugly cuts across the fenders... It's noit quite as bad as Deluxe Twitch, with engineering so defective I returned it for being a bad toy,, but I absolutely regret awasting the money on this and he's first ion line for the auction block when I start culling to make some space in the toy closet.
Great review! Very cool figure, love the Decepticon purple, color scheme! He's makes me think of an evil version of CARS Tow Mater!

and oh yes, Nightshade is absolutely the best deluxe excluding this guy. There's an upcoming Soundwave that might be great.

The look of the alts kept me away too and an alt form thats a drone seems so garbage to me.
