My company's idea of a datamesh was "the use case teams now make the data available via Postgres". No restructuring of teams, of course. Now that we finally are getting Trino to access all these databases, we're about to move to Azure / Databricks. Goodbye legacy datalake, and Data Mesh, hello DataLakeHouse 😅 At least our hardware scaling issues should be solved - too long to get more CPU or Drive Storage. Should be fixed now, at least.
