I normally hate puns but you did honestly made me snort/chuckle really loud with your "they write themselves" line. Great job on the video, been a fan for a while now and I admit while I'm not a collector myself I do enjoy watching these reviews. Keep up the awesome work!
In regards to the wings, I almost feel like they should've just gone for broke and have Agumon warp-digivolve into ShineGreymon Burst Mode. The toy would mostly be the same, but how the kibble makes the wings would work better for a pure fire wing rather than the metal ones

i can't understand why some people doesn't like the ShineGreymon design , i mean ... it looks pretty amazing with his chest, his armor also his mechanic wings for me it is one of best designs in Digimon n.n (even more when he is in Burst Mode)
Old comment, but the reason why I hate ShineGreymon's design is simply... While I'm sure you think it looks cool and awesome, he frankly looks like a clown to me, and not a badass clown like Piemon, a goofy and dumb looking clown trying to look cool.

nice review! I actually have the 3 figures (shinegreymon, mirage gaogamon and kudamon). when I was still desperately looking for them some years ago shinegreymon was the one I wished to have the most but if I like his main body, the wings are so weird... (because of their look and especially where they are.. they just look like agumon's veins and hoses exploded lol)
kudamon is just a basic shellformer (in transformers universe) but my surprise was actually mirage gaogamon. he's got some real backpack and kibble here and there but I really like him a lot!

the wings are made from agumons parts so there red because...OMG U KILLED AGUMON TO DIGIVOLVE
In other words, the only real reason you truly love the human and Digimon interactions is because of Masaru punching anything bigger than him. Yeah, valid reason. I like Savers because of that one action.
Plus he punched the shield of a Royal Knight that caused it to break and punched his mortal enemy in the face while being fused with a demon lord

The first figures that I wanted so badly were Kaisergreymon and Magnagarurumon to for Susanoomon. I couldn't buy them because they were way to expensive for me to buy.

personally and i know it's kinda lazy but i could easily see this be redone as both ruin mode and burst mode with maybe a little added accessories on burst mode's agumon for his own burst mode even if that was only used once

savers was awesome, i was kinda disappointed by the ending, but saying it ruined such a good digimon series would be an exageration, the series where awesome, and the ending wasnt bad, i just expected a bit more, i always love digivolving figures, while i dont hate xros was(fusion) the figures were not that great, i love the new cyberdramon design, but he gets reduced to a weird accesory instead of a "full" fusion like some others

I like the toy, but I never liked them reusing Agumon instead of a fully new digimon, specially considering his different evolutions
They used Agumon again because they to get older fans to watch the show. Nostalgia bait... It was a thing even back in 2006.

there is no more good transformation agumon figure than the agumon to wargreymon, that is the only one that pretty good when in agumon mode and in the wargreymon mode, even tho i do like shinegreymon.

supposedly savers is actually more tollerable compared to the us version. data squad pissed me off to no end as it has the coolest evos but the vas suck and the story suffered for it. when i get a moment im watching savers start to finish.
I actually quite enjoyed Data Squad, though maybe I was just more tolerable of dubs back when I was younger. I should probably give Savers a chance in it's original format. I might like it even more.

secretasianman108 i think i watched data squad too late sullying my opinion of dubs for the show fusion didnt do anything to help that. alo ty. im loving ghost right now the atmosphere feels like a gen script but it isnt its slightly dark slightly fun all awesome.
I'm not enjoying Ghost right now. The plot feels very Wizard, without the benefit of the cooler monster and Rider designs. In fact, the only suit I can honestly say I like is Grateful. Even then, the color layout on the helmet...eh.
That being said, there are parts of Ghost I really liked, and the plot shows hints of amazing storytelling, and since we're only at the halfway point, I think I'll keep watching.
secretasianman108 the plot died in the water because they had very little idea what their end game was and only now realised what it was the ganmaizers are the end game and we have no idea what the full end game is. i like the plot even if its dead and i agree with the wizard feel but they were always gonna feel similar since wizardry and ghosts are both supernatural themes.

Your Digivolving Dukemon looks like its seen better days. That white paint looks like its gone gray, or some other unpleasant color.
+ChaosPhantasm2000 Ah, yes. That's the white plastic turning yellow with age/light exposure/humidity. As I mentioned in its review, the material it's made out of yellows very easily and you'd be hard-pressed to find one in its original color. However, what's really annoying is the fact that the paint is peeling off from his shield... The color is actually flaking off from the chrome at the slightest touch...
Wasn't the American version susceptible to the same problem? I'm not nearly as familiar with that version as I am with the Japanese version you reviewed.
+ChaosPhantasm2000 I don't believe so, actually. I think the US version was painted white and white paint doesn't yellow that easily.
Chrome was always an kind of problematic material, due to the problems that could come with its usage on toys. I think the Japanese version would probably have fared better if it had white paint, instead of white plastic to avoid this problem. Alas not much can be done now. The figure is still lovely despite its almost inevitable fate.
+ChaosPhantasm2000 Yup, you're precisely right. The Beast Wars Transmetal toys were infamous for their use of chrome and how easy it flaked off... I personally don't mind the yellowing or paint flaking, as long as there was nothing I could have done to have prevented them. (^.^;)

ShineGreymon is like WarGreymon, because they're the Mega-leveled forms of Tai's Agumon and Marcus's Agumon, except unlike ShineGreymon, WarGreymon doesn't have a tail, and ShineGreymon doesn't have the Brave Shield. Well, at least, I know why he's named ShineGreymon. It's because he shines like the Sun.
