Follow these steps to complete Datagridview cellclick event tutorial.
1. Add new form.
1. Design the from with Datagridview , textbox, combobox, and Datetimepicker control from the toolbox in your form.
2. Select Datagridview and go to the property window , click on event and double click cell click event.

I do have a question, it seems that when I click the datagridview, it will only treat it like a click if I click on the text inside the cell. If I click anywhere else in the cell it doesn't work, can you help me with this? Did I miss something?

question is depend on visul basic
i have one data gride view with two column one is button 1 value and 2nd is button two value i have two button button 1 and button 2 i m using button 1 for text box 1 and text box 2 and i m using button 2 for text box 3 and text box 4 i want when i will press button 1 then text box 1 and text box 2 value should column name is button 1 value in the data gride view and i will press button 2 then text box 3 and text box 4 value should go in the column button 2 value in the data gride how will solve this question
