How light can you go with high speed trolling gear. Would 700 yards of 80 pound braid with 200 lb 50 foot shock leader work?

Old Senators you have to slow down but Ill slow down for a kingfish much less a hoo ;)

Wahoo are regularly caught across the Panhandle by boats trolling way offshore. - Capt Mike

Have y'all come to destin fl. If so what time of the year do you recommend wahoo high speed trolling?
In Destin you're going to need to run way offshore into deeper water to high speed troll, try 200-500 ft, any time of year around the full moon. - Capt Mike

How much drag are you guys fishing the wahoo
As we're trolling high speed trolling we apply just enough drag to prevent line creep, it is not set it and forget, depending on conditions you often have to make continuous adjustments as you troll up sea or down sea, etc. - Capt Mike
