I know Tyler's influenced by a ton of different artists, but that just stood out to me.
For me My Chemical Romance makes music I love to listen to and I enjoy the elements of it and for Twenty Øne Piløts they make lyrics that hook me in for both the elements of it and how I can relate more to the lyrics

There's a live performance here on TH-cam of them singing "This River is Wild", and there's a part where he kind of like shakes when he sings "Sometimes I'm nervous when I talk I shake a little" and that part gets to me everytime. The musicvideo for Holding Onto You has a similar kind of feel, which is why it's my favorite music vid of TØP to this moment.

gnarlish Yes! I've had those moments with Brandon a lot of times. There's a live performance here on TH-cam of them singing "This River is Wild", and there's a part where he kind of like shakes when he sings "Sometimes I'm nervous when I talk I shake a little" and that part gets to me everytime. The musicvideo for Holding Onto You has a similar kind of feel, which is why it's my favorite music vid of TØP to this moment.
for me, "okay friend?" in Kitchen Sink always resonates with me very strongly, when I saw the Killers live a few years back "higher and higher we're going to make it" from Bling made me unexpectedly cry, and from Blurry Face so far I think it's "it would be to my brother, because we have the same nose, same clothes" from Stressed Out.

When he said the Killers I cried like wow. My favorite band are the Killers and my second favorite band are Twenty One Pilots. He was talking about the Killers music video for "Read My Mind." Wow life is beautiful :')
He's such an inspiration. Him and Josh are living testimonies of how you can get past your trials and get through life despite the battles you face.
I'm not sure why, but any time I watch tøp interviews I always feel a strong connection with both of them. I just feel the need to look into their eyes, and especially Tyler's, because his eyes just give off this sense of understanding and attentiveness. It just makes me really happy.

Tyler Talking about how he found himself and his purpose has saved me many times, I’m 14 and struggling to find any meaning in life. Twenty one pilots, is the best thing that has ever happened to me, I also love music and instruments, I play percussion, ukulele, and piano and music is what has kept me alive and most likely will continue too.
