The way your brain works to figure out the shape of the exterior is fascinating… can I have a pinch of your vision please? You make it look so easy!
I remember the shrubs and bushes used to grow in the Sims 2! I used to love sending a sim out to take care of the yardwork while someone did chores inside
You were channeling the "beige mom" look for this build. Also it's not unrealistic to have a newborn's nursery with more black & white in it. This is because infants typically only start perceiving colors around 2-4 months old, something I learned while I was pursuing my Associates degree in Childhood Development. Before then they can primarily only perceive objects displaying high contrast. This is why it is common to see infant toys with a lot of different patterns in black & white. So neutral nurseries with black& White patterns/accents is actually pretty realistic and as they grow & develop more colors can be added! 🙂
I like to furnish houses but often get overwhelmed by building, so I sometimes use your builds as a shell or for inspiration. I'm doing this one now and I'm having loads of fun, it's so different from what I usually do!
Completely forgot Amerika existed for a minute when she mentioned that family homes are usually beige or neutral [in Germany they're all usually fun colors like mint green, bright yellow, bold orange, etc.]
in the u.s., we have home owners associations (h.o.a.) that restrict how your house looks. like the color, landscaping, etc. they’re usually very over-the-top about the rules and most of us hate them 😭😭

This is super realistic. So cute. The grandad and grandsons being best friends got me! I was so close with my Grandma, and now that we have puzzles and a stand up piano in game it feels perfect for elders
There’s a mod for lawn care (because there’s a mod for everything 😂) and it’s pretty fun…for about 30 minutes. I got frustrated with it so fast!

I just noticed those little cut outs in American suburban home roofs today!! Looks so good how you did it.
I remember in The OG the Sims when you used terrain tool to raise terrain, and possibly also lower it, can't remember, the grass in the area you'd changed would disappear and then when you went into live mode, it would slowly grow back
You can tell you spent time on this because it's PERFECT!! everything about it is just beautiful & satisfying. Definitely be proud of this one!! ❤️👏🏻

This is one of my most favorite builds you’ve ever posted ❤ all of my homes are generation homes bc I’m a big legacy family player and love to have aunties and grandparents living with family.

Theres a mod for grass growing and cutting! Simrealist home and co. Adds some extra laundry tasks too

You keep saying that you were taught brown and black don't go together. It's at least the 3rd time you said that. Who taught you that? It's not part of any color theory, especially considering that black is considered to go with everything. There was this very old saying about clothing, as not to appear overly dark, but even in fashion black is considered to go with everything.

I want know why sims can’t live on the same lot and run a business that’s an actual thing but it’s ts4 they live in lets ruin the The franchise for the sims because we want to cash grab and do little to nothing to fix the game that people paid for they’re so scared to stand up EA cause why is the game so boring im sorry im on a rant cause this upsets me as someone who’s played every version of this game and they’re ruining the legacy of the game it’s just sad basic typical things like grocery stores we can’t have but we have zippys what’s the point in creating all those things that your Sims can make and build all that but not actually have the functionality for it when I play the game it feels like I have to think and plot in plan before I can actually enjoy the gameplay. It’s too much. I’m sorry again.
