Thanks for this video, I recently had a near accident, and I started looking for a solution, and found this one, a lot safer becomes our hobby. Thanks again Thumpsup for you.

Thanks for this. This is one feature that the futaba had that I have missed greatly. Appreciate the video. Keep them coming.

I’ve been outsmarted by my Jeti radio. Followed the instructions to the letter….still no go.

Then you are not following the instructions! When this happens it is always because people miss a step that they swear blind they are not skipping, or they add in a step that isn't in the instructiins

One think that could be great is if we could use a pre-fl.pos on a logical switch so we could even add that when we start the radio...

Hi Harry just followed throttle cut extra safe version with the two logic switches it worked just fine, throttle enabled only when throttle stick is less than -95% (closed) and operating a two position switch to ON logic switch 2 used in the throttle cut all worked as you described however I did find with the throttle in operation I could no longer kill the throttle by operating my throttle enable switch (two position) it only killed the throttle when I closed the throttle. To over come this I used a third logic switch programmed with logic switch 2 AND throttle enable switch to result in logic output which is then used in the throttle cut, now when ever I operate the throttle enable switch it always kills the throttle.

    Brilliant .

Hi Harry - regarding 4:20 , for some reason on my DS24c i had to leave CENTR "off" (blacked out) and X < 4% (not < -96%) for Control 1 to behave properly. It works with this but i'm wondering if i missed something?

Hi, you have done some bit of program setting elsewhere that is messing up your throttle. Your Tx is seeing the throttle only going from 0 to +100 instead of -100 to + 100

@@cotswoldpilot - I finally realised what I'd done wrong: I had "absolute value" (the symbol with the parallel bars) instead of "value" for X

All, I got it finally, I thought. But with a new model.
Now I am trying to set this on a model of which I set the throttle first to the mechanical limits first, ended up with full THR at -91 and idle at +98. Might be the reason that I cannot get it to work now?

It will still work. In Other Model Options, The throttle cut output parameter should be left at its default minus 100%, regardless of the +ve or -ve servo travel value at idle. If you changed that then t cut will not work properly.

Hi Harry just setting up my assist and hit servo assignment in auto and the plane took off across the table taking out another model and a jumper before burning out the esc and possibly the motor. The throttle switch was on?

    Harry:
I love your videos! They are very informative, and have helped me learn how to get the most out of my JETI radio. I do have a problem, though. I have a DS-24, and I followed the instructions in this video on how to create an extra safe throttle cut, however it is not working correctly. After going through and creating both Logic switches, throttle cut turns off when I flip the Throttle lock switch to off. In other words, It does not require me to move the throttle controller to idle first, thereby negating the "extra safe" function. I have gone through and repeated all the steps five times, and every time I get the same result. Do you have any suggestions?
    Thank you!

      Hi Robert,
In the video, after I create each logic switch, I show what its output is with the different combinations of switch and throttle positions. Check those against yours, one of the switches must have a different output compared to my video, and that will tell you which logic switch has not been set correctly.

@@cotswoldpilot I found the step that was missing. When you make the second logical switch and you add the first logical switch as control 1, you need to make it centered and proportional.

This is an issue, I know 2 instances where the throttle lock has failed
