Meet AmeriCorps Member and Alum Flor Romero. As we enter this AmeriCorps Week, we celebrate the millions of people who have chosen to serve our country in countless ways that tackle some of our nation’s most pressing issues. AmeriCorps volunteers have been at the forefront of health education, ending hunger, educational initiatives, and now, climate change. We celebrate three decades of service, determination, and the special bonds we have made throughout the time serving in our respective programs.
