MINISTER'S VISIT 2024

On Thursday 4th April, 2024, we were honoured to host the Honourable Minister of Solid Minerals of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Henry Oladele Alake and give him a site tour of the Segilola Gold Project.
We were proud to showcase the best practice standards we adhere to in all areas - from employment to environmental practices to corporate social responsibility (CSR). This has not only made significant steps in developing new skills in the Nigerian workforce, but has also given the company an invaluable social licence to operate.
We shared our long term vision in Nigeria which includes extending the Segilola mine life, building more gold mines in Nigeria and also extending our operations to other minerals in the country where we believe there is significant untapped potential. We look forward to continued support from the Ministry of Solid Minerals as we continue to grow in the country alongside a mining sector which can deliver so much value to the wider Nigerian economy.
