  • Coastal sand dunes around Europe are increasingly under threat from biodiversity loss. Reintroducing grazers like cattle helps to restore dynamic processes to overgrown dune and heath environments, and is an effective way of managing the land for greater biodiversity and ecosystem resilience. Here in Dorset, find out how we're using GPS-tracked NoFence collars to give our grazing herd a better experience and allow us greater control and flexibility of their vital conservation efforts.
This project is is part of Dynamic Dunescapes and is supported by National Lottery Heritage Fund and EU LIFE Programme. 21 May marks the 30th anniversary of LIFE and NATURA 2000, which aim to restore and safeguard biodiversity in the European Union. #LIFEis30
