Tip : For a doubled benefit, in order to relax before bed I stretch under red light. First I relax my mind and eye then I train my joints and muscle. Hope that helps.
Black out curtains are a hell yes. I also got lined fabric and suction cupped it to the window as I have french doors in my bedroom and the light in the morning gives me headaches - I have astigmatism so am naturally light sensitive. I’m a severe asthmatic there’s no way I could sleep straight through for 8 hours I wake up every couple hours SOB needing my nebuliser in the night on biologics under the asthma specialist I’ve not had more than 4 hours sleep for at least 8 years
@@DoctorKenji the asthma specialist says it’s patients like me that get researchers out of bed every morning one day they’ll crack it until then we are a polyphasic sleeper
Dark quite rooms are how the demons get you. I need a well lit room with some kind of noise going so that I wake up every hour to make sure I'm still alone.
Is that your banana plant? Good tips Kenji, from tomorrow no caffeine after3-4 and no full bladder and how loud is your alarm, I think I should have one. Wow! you have research a lot...."Out like a light" well said.😁👍
There definitely are. I am on one from King's. Once you get into medschool or even before there is a lot out there, you just have to put in the time to gind them

nice video, I think if you have no blue light at night that will be best.
Since blue light mimicks day light and reduces melatonin secretion
Very right!
Great Video!!
Thank you so much!
Big fan from Sri Lanka
Wow all the way there! Thank you so much!

Hi Kenji. Just wondered that with yourself being a medical student, do you do many all-night study sessions? (Nice tips btw)
Thank you! Tbh I never have in medicine as I think you have enough time but I definitely did a few times in my last degree.
