How to produce GREAT VOCALS using a CHEAP MIC and Adobe Audition (BM-800 Condenser Microphone)

- Hello guys, here I will show you what I use when I record my covers with BM-800 Microphone and edit my vocals using Adobe Audition. You can apply what I taught here in other editing programs you have if the tools are available.

Nice one! I'm a audio editor also (not a pro) I'm using Adobe Audition Cs6 edition. Anyway i guess u must try to use audio interface for your Recording such a phantom power or mixing board that support 48v of microphone kahit ano sa mga yan for better Voice Pick up. Bawas din sa pag eedit at paglilinis ng boses at mawawala yung static ng microphone. Btw overall ayos naman more video to come! Sub to sub tayo.

Excellent audio quality man! I wonder how you do to control the high volume breakdown on the microphone. Is it post-production or are you using a low volume setting?
PJStudio Btw u can use some effects to control all the voice clip in editor u can use "match volume" and "mixer panel" try to put normalize/dynamic processing effect it helps to make all clip the same.

I'm a big fan of these Chinese mics personally! I have a BM800, 2 BM8000s and a Neewer NW5200 and they all have amazing qualities for their price. I think it's crazy that so many people spend fortunes on Rode and Shure mics when these would often serve the same purpose for an extremely small fraction of the price. Great video and amazing singing!
nah fam, Shure and Rode both offer a very different and more professional sound for everything. You don't even have to set up fancy stuff.

Hi po! New subscriber here, i watched ur covers quite a lot lately, and i liked how you tweaked ur vocals. I also did the same thing as mine however di ko pa maxado nakukuha ung ina asam kong timpla lol. Tanong ko lang po kung ano set up ng audio hardware niyo (input, output, master) ? Tapos if nag eedit ka po ba ng vocals, isang track lng po gamit nyo? Ginawa ko kasi one track kada isang verse until chorus tapos another one para sa next verse tapos isa nmn for bridge hanggang ending na. Nag kaka loko ung sound kasi iba iba ng volume. Hoping for your reply po. 🤞😊

Bro how did you get rid of the buzzing sound? We have the same set up yet yours recording is far better than mine.
If you are using sound card make sure that its compatible to your bm800 I've experienced that before that's why I bought a new sound card and it's ok now :)
Has anyone experienced latency problems while using a Maono AU-A04 mic with Adobe Audition ? I'm talking about delay when recording. Like for example, you record your voice to the project's tempo, but the actual recordings have a slight delay and dont match up with the rest of the clips in the project (there's a delay).
Is there a way to fix a problem like this?

I got soundcard but its shit so I just make it sound good in FL studio with some eq noise reduction etc
