Just bought this yesterday (Black Friday sale, 25$ for the game and all dlc!). Immediately selected extreme difficulty, as it being “too easy” seems to be a common criticism online. So far I enjoy it!
Dont sell anything, at all, ever in this game. You have unlimited inventory space and errands that popup late game asking for things you won't be able to get once you have upgraded your kingdom.
One thing I like to do is let this game be an idle game when you get your kingdom just have the game on and your just chillen In the castle as your research is running and your collecting kingsguilders. Watch a video take the dog for a walk I've taken naps with the game playing woke up to a full coffer and stores and finished research.
Your recommendation not to use Roland and Evan in the same party is bullshit! Just set the spoils settings in the tactics tweaker to more equipment twice and you'll get more than enough swords for Roland AND Evan.
play on expert. because your right, it is to easy. only hear to see if i'm gonna get half way through the game and realize i should have been doing something the entire game. i hate backtracking for stuff like that.
I thought that, in the game, it mentioned that the 4th member of your party and onward received a bit less xp than the 1st three, that end up in combat.
RPG Division It did say a bit less. I haven't put batu in the party since getting him. He was a level higher than the rest of my party. Now he's 2 levels behind the rest

But unfortunately, you were correct the game's combat is too easy at the moment, I still love it since everything else besides combat is fantastic but it is a damn shame combat isn't more challenging. I hope it either gets harder or the developer releases an update for Hard difficulty, they're known for doing that. If that won't happen I at least hope someone makes a mod that makes it more challenging. I didn't manage to catch your stream since I was asleep at the time, hopefully, I will be able to next time though depending on whether or not you're ahead of me I may not watch but I'll pop in to say hi. I like the game quite a lot too. Combat in itself is fantastic imo. Only thing they would need to do is up health and dmg from enemies and it would be alright.
Yes, the combat itself has a lot of good depth and complexity to it, it's very good but it's a classic problem of giving the player too many options that they don't know what to do with because a lot of the things they allow you to do are kind of overkill. This game is great but a rebalance mod or a difficulty patch would make it even better.
Rxmonste the game is moderately challenging... You can end up in fucked up situations fast. Its not too easy for my play style. I fight higher level thinga early on purpose to level up.
