【Introduction】One and Only (2021) Chinese Drama series, alongside Forever and Ever is based on the novel Yi Sheng Yi Shi Mei Ren Gu by Mo Bao Fei Bao. It tells the story of a voice actress who has memories of her past life and waits for a man who in her former life loved and respected him with all his heart but could not marry. The series is about Cui Shiyi (Bai Lu), the crown princess-to-be who was sent to the mansion to be a protégé by her elders. Cui Shiyi fell in love, without knowing it, with the Jr. Nanchen King, Zhou Shengchen (Ren Jialun) during her stay. Their relationship soon became an intimate one, yet both of them let their affection grow while restrained it with courtesy. Cui Shiyi was later forced to marry the crown prince and meanwhile, Zhou Shengchen was seriously wounded in an accident when he was leading an army during a war, and sadly died after leaving Cui Shiyi his last words.

The way yang shao know what she’s going to do and just straighfully pay his respect to sent her off instead of stop her got me 💔 but feeling thankful too. This is the only tragic drama that i’ll keep replying all over again, and acknowledge how painfully beautiful is this.
Tragic but only the “happy ending” by her not marrying the enemy and not being left behind alone…
Beautiful tragic ending.. Atleast this drama they have the best ending as in they show all the cast members as yknow Ghost(memories) same as the main lead character they just dnt stop bcoz its end but they show whats next happened afterlife.
The first time she spoke, was so her master could hear her. Now the last time she spoke was also so her master can hear her. Such a beautifully executed scene!!!

In terms of plot and acting, this is the best drama. Unfortunately the following of Yang Yang and Dilraba is much larger than Bai Lu and Allen Ren so my guess is that their drama, You are my Glory will be number one despite its not great plot. Bai Lu and Allen Ren definitely deserves the number one spot!

Bailu is an excellent actress in my eyes and she was capable to realize a perfect portrayal of her role. She pretty ,cute , funny and work hard. 🌻❤😍

@@wishyouwerehere82 Wrong did you not read the synopsis? Forever and Ever are the Zhousheng Chen and Shiyi reincarnated. Many of the same characters are there including the obsessed prince etc. In fact there are crossover scenes as she remembers the past....Its on ep 22 already

I hope that the ending is re-written. Cui ShiYi cannot have children with the nephew (the new emperor), since she was with Zhou Sheng Chen since she was a teenager. A virgin marrying the Emperor cannot conveive children, which is why it might be a better ending id she takes Zhou ShengChen back as number 2, as in a relationship, etc......
