Sir..in compression method there are also include one method called slugging bt sir why it's call slugging??any specific reasons are there?

Slugging process involves compression of bigger sized tablets like 20 mm but not of very high hardness. These are called as slugs. Slugs are one step towards final tablets. It is a process of increasing BD of the granules when you don’t have roll compactor. Slugs are then further milled -sieved - blended with disintegrant-glidant-Lubricant and compressed into final tablets

Sequence is wrong in all processes. For example In wet granulation after drying sieving is done. Retained granules are milled and again passed through sieve. Then disintegrant Gliadant are added. Mixed for fix time. Then lubricant is added as final step before compression.
