After you finish the series, you really should watch the behind the scenes. Arcane: Bridging the Rift. I already loved and respected the series, the behind the scenes made me respect the creators!
Welcome to Arcane! Quick note - the series is 9 episodes, which are basically three sets of three. There is one overarching plotline, but it's structured as three acts of three episodes each. Don't worry if you don't know anything about the LoL lore - it's not necessary (and some bits have been adapted), the story stands entirely on it's own. That said, if you're familiar with it, you'll enjoy the connections they've made. I'd strongly suggest avoiding spoilers as much as possible - to the point of asking your commenters to refrain from spoiling anything at all. Fans of this show (myself included) want to share everything awesome about it and can get ahead of themselves when doing so. Lastly, this series is incredibly detail-oriented and information-rich. Don't be at all concerned with wanting to pause and analyze a scene or line of dialogue, if that won't take you out of the experience. Deep dives are rewarded. So, yeah. Buckle in - it's a wild, beautiful, heart-breaking ride. Take care!
Now I understand why people want to see our reaction to episode 3 so bad. We loosely follow LoL lore through the cinematics of their various franchises and are learning more through our reaction videos and everyones comments.. It will definitely be fun for us to make those connections and learn about ones we didn't know prior. We're absolutely ready to indulge and have so many awesome discussions surrounding it!
Looking forward to your reaction. It's a really good show. It's also one where comments has occasionally spoiled things for other reactors. So you might wanna be cautious.
This is a great trailer because everything has been re-cut to give an accurate general idea, but obscure all the specifics. Like that bar confrontation? When the cop walks into the bar, the cop's dialog is from a different point in that scene, the reverse-shot of the big guy is from a different scene, and the big guy's one-liner is from a third scene.
I thank the wizards at Riot for doing little things like this that one wouldn't notice until afterward. Protecting the integrity of the show. Absolutely love it. Thank you for pointing this out!
Actually the very first teaser footage for Arcane was during Riot Games' Anniversary Stream back in 2019. Hundreds and thousands of people in that stream rejoiced all at once in that stream.
I have zero idea about League of Legends lore cuz I don't even play the game but I watched Arcane after seeing "Enemy" Music Video by Imagine Dragon (The theme song). and Hell One Year Later, I am still obsessed with the show and no other show surpassed it as my favorite show of 2020s decade
Your excitement is palpable and contagious. And obviously genuine. I saw the tear streaks on your cheek after the second trailer. I’m looking forward to your reactions to the series. I’m still overwhelmed more than a year later. I also recommend the Bridging the Rift series, but by all means check out any and ALL of the essays posted by SHNEE. The BEST. The compilations of reactors by Reactions by Raven are very fun. Your lives are already changed. 😳✌️🙏🏼
Thankyou!!! Haha we have a blast doing these and are so happy to hear you enjoy them too! Ep 1 of our reaction to the series should be rdy tomorrow!! Cant waiiiit
@@donmowatt If I may be allowed: Please consider pausing fairly frequently while reacting, especially so that you don't talk over the characters and miss what they are saying. This is not a show that holds your hand very tightly, and if you talk at the same time they do, you WILL miss information, and the show will not necessarily give you a second chance. This is a show that rewards you for having a lot of cleverness and attention to detail, and if you don't put in the work, it's liable to leave you behind. It's a very unusual beast. Obviously do your own thing, and I look forward to it. But you might enjoy it more if you know everything that's happening. 😉
No one is ever ready for this show :D I'm looking forward to experiencing it again with you, you are in for a treat! If I may suggest something: There is a music video for the opening song. It features brand new scenes, which aren't in the show. But they are kinda relevant to the stuff that happens in episode 7 and give some more backstory to one of the things happening in it. So for the most emotional impact, I would suggest you to watch it afterwards. (And don't worry, it does not spoiler anything!) Just be a bit careful with the copyright. Imagine Dragons like to claim things. Riot does not actively claim any of their music and you should be fine (especially sind you talk so much during the reaction anyway), but it was a problem when the song was new. I don't think it still is, but I am not sure. Oh and since you once replied to someone in the comments about watching opening shows for the World Championship: They once did an arcane themed opening. Normally it is always a live show, but due to corona they could not do one, so instead they made it arcane focused. It is the one from 2021. Do not watch that before you have finished the show.
Best to watch the music video after the last episode or before the first episode. If watched before episode 7, it might break a lot of things in episodes 8 and 9. It actually contains spoilers. Spoilers aren't worth buying for the sake of the parallelism between the scene in episode 7 and the music video.
its unfortunate to watch the trailer right before the show, best case: u will see its good. worst case: spoilerville. nothing to gain that u couldnt gain by just starting with episode 1. love your excitement though, ill be here to watch
@@donmowatt from yalls reaction here I thought yall were fans of the game originally and then got excited over the fact there's a series of it now and that the trailers are really good.
Thats...quite the request.. Appreciate it but until we are big enough to hire an editor or something...I'm most likely not going to be watching and reacting to movies. It just isnt possible with our other responsibilities. Ive always said..you guys want more...you know where the patreon is 😉 - its too much to do myself daily. Maybe eventually is all I can say for now. Thanks for watching though!!
Honestly I feel like you shouldn't have watched the trailers and just dived into the show. Edit: watch the enemy music video between episode 6 and 7 it'll give it a lot more impact. Edit: edit: calling yourselves arcane fans in past videos?

Nah, we have so much going on that honestly I forget shortly after. Even now im like...yeah there were punchy bits...boomy parts...cool cities...😅 . Cant wait to dive in.
I'm a trailer guy, I can't watch a movie without watching the trailer first lol. I watched a couple random movies on HBO back in the day and would get really bored after it started because I didn't know anything about the movie so I would pause to watch the films trailer to see if it sounds interesting, After getting a sense of what the movie was about after the trailer peaked myinterest i was able to watch the films without being bored. even movies I'm anticipating, I gotta watch the trailer first because it just hypes me up even more if the trailer is good. but i do understand how some trailers can ruin certain surprises like Daredevil season 2, I didn't know daredevil season 2 came out so i never watched a trailer, i just saw thefirst episode and I was blown away by the surprise of Punisher. Punisher is in the trailer but it was a surprise for me because I didn't watch the trailers.
