Back when my great grandmother and great grandfather lived there. I even have a letter she wrote to one of her children who lived in Sweden, so very happy for that, so valuable to us to read how they experienced the war living in London. Along with these pictures that makes me very emotional actually.
Despite the miles of film taken, and recreations Cinema and TV---NOTHING can compare with living through it, because the danger's and deprivations were real and severe, and loved one's lost.
