He went into detail that he is nobody special, and that anyone can memorize the bible if they commit to doing it. His personal testimony gives all the Glory to God. Thousands of years ago, when people did not read or write, scripture was memorized perfectly without error. Our society has changed, and we do memorize scripture as God has commanded us.

People are always clapping for one another in churches, what happened the last time a couple renewed their vows after 50 years of marriage in your church? Or when someone sang a beautiful solo, or a guest speaker spoke a powerful message. People clap and encourage, which is much different from praise.
well, he has his own way of going through 22 chapters, there is another man who recites the entire book of Revelation and he again does it in his unique way, which I like best, but again: this man does it in his own unique way..

I saw this as a performance more than a sermon. The text of the performance happened to be scripture. Certainly the performance was worthy of acknowledgement and appreciation. Seems like applause was appropriate, especially since this was not a formal worship service. Anyway, great job Tom and yes, God is great, on a whole different level.

wow, bitter much? your comment seems empty.. Christianity does not need this. The man is able to recite the Revelation, it is not you who give out God's blessings, it is God. I read the NKJV and know the Revelation very well, and I recognise every single word he recites.

Since we find older manuscripts as archeologist dig more and are carbon dated to be older. So we update it with more reliable manuscripts. But all scripture is God breath. And most translations (besides the message bible) contain the same doctrine.

The Holy Spirit founded the first translation organisation...simultaneous translation of God's Word into all the languages of the Diaspora Jews present on that day. God is behind Translation, so that every Creature might hear the truth of the Gospel and be saved.

I believe he is! I think he's a professor at Shasta Bible College in Redding CA. I've heard him recite a few years ago.
