  • Nature is the source of all life, beauty and wisdom. It is the ultimate teacher, healer and friend. It offers us countless opportunities to learn, grow and enjoy. Yet, in our modern society, we often neglect or ignore the connection we have with nature. We are too busy, stressed and distracted by artificial and superficial things. We forget to appreciate the simple and profound gifts that nature gives us every day.
Connecting with nature is not only beneficial for our physical and mental health, but also for our spiritual and moral development. It helps us to slow down, relax and be mindful of the present moment. It helps us to cultivate gratitude, compassion and generosity. It helps us to discover our true selves, our purpose and our place in the world. It helps us to realize that we are not separate from nature, but part of it. We are not superior to nature, but dependent on it. We are not owners of nature, but stewards of it.
Connecting with nature is not a luxury, but a necessity. It is not a hobby, but a habit. It is not a choice, but a duty. We owe it to ourselves, to each other and to future generations to respect, protect and cherish nature. We need to reconnect with nature before it is too late. We need to remember that nature is not only our home, but our mother.

Wonderful message thank you. On a side note for some reason oak trees cannot grow here in Alaska or any other real hardwood. Alder is the closest we have.
