I was banned for commenting on a comic related twitter page, stating that, You're a nazi in the eyes of the media these days, you have a different opinion than them, they'll burn you at the stake. Twitter saw that as a threat to media LOL.
I am glad you finally posted a video. I was beginning to wonder if you were going to stop. I noticed a few months ago that you deleted a few of your video's (like the year in review and your "Golden week" video in France). Why did you do that? Was there a copyright issue? I just now noticed with the "New Zealand" video that you changed the name of your channel as well. (From " Maaike in Japan" to "Maaike and Takeru"). I wondered why the change, but it makes sense since you all just got married to combine into one channel. Then I looked at your "ABOUT" statement on this channel and saw that you have a new goal. You want to visit 50 countries by 2022. What is your current number as a married couple? Japan Philippines Indonesia New Zealand Maybe you are counting as a couple. Japan Belgium Taiwan (is this considered a country?) Philippines Indoneasia New Zealand Anyway, I wish you would put up more content. The filming is wonderful and the drone shots are AMAZING and SPECTACULAR!

@@MaaikeInJapan There is no better time to do this than now (both at your age and the times we live in). Traveling after a career and kids is a bit harder, but doable. Was there a TH-camr that inspired you to take this next step?

This is where I thought you may have gotten your inspiration. I watch too much TH-cam. I should be out doing more vs watching. But some of you do such a beautiful job filming and editing.

ほんとに羊が多くて自然がきれいでした。
食事は微妙だったけど、大草原の中の乗馬体験が最高でした。空を飛んでるみたいだったなぁ。
マーイケさんはヨーロッパ人、ポテトつきの食事の時の顔がすてきです。山登り大嫌いは本音かな？

ニュージーランドの大自然が素晴らしいですね。ドローン撮影の巧さにもいつもながら感嘆しました。
ところでクライストチャーチの国際南極センターの低温体験コーナーですが、これに似た施設が日本にもあります。
網走市のオホーツク流氷館の－１５℃コーナーで、濡れタオルが短時間で氷の板になるのを体験できます。
知床国立公園方面に行くことがあったら立ち寄ってください。 一週間も休暇を取らなくても行けますよ。
日本にもあるんですね！行ってみたくなりました！😊

13年前の今日は、オークランドに滞在9日目の日でした。 当時は関西国際空港からニュージーランド・オークランド行きのニュージーランド航空の便が一年中ありました。オークランド滞在中に、温泉地ロトルアにバスで行きました。次回は、ドライブしたいですね。ニュージーランド人の友達も多いので:)

ニュージランドの自然景観は確かに壮大な感じがして好まれるんだが、問題が有ると思う。
そもそも、ニュージランドは白人入植前までは国土の８０％が森林地帯(山地含む)で、白人入植と共に森林伐採の開拓が行われて、今現在は国土森林面積の３５％程。
のこされている森林も人工林が多い。
日本の場合は森林地帯(山地含む)は、６６％程(人工林は2/5)。
日本はニュージランドと比較し天然林の率・面積が大きく、樹木・草の植生品種も多い。
しかも、単に故郷の欧州の風景に近付けたいという無茶な目的のために、
森を焼き払って平原や牧草地にしたり原生の樹木の代わりに欧州産の樹木を植えたりしてる。
本来ならば、ニュージーランドっぽい大自然というのはもっとアジア、ポリネシア的な光景のはずなんだよね。
