Team GB in the IMBA's 2004/2005

20 Years ago i was lining up represent Team GB in the IMBA series. The best experience of my Mx Career, having so many good memories of being in the top 3 in the AMCA championship and then being selected to represent AMCA in the European series. Me and my two mechanics & mates got the chance to travel around Europe to race in countries Holland, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium. One of our funny memories was us driving around Amsterdam to find my mechanic Ross who got lost , we was sure he had a special cake in one of those dodgy coffee shops lol. After finding him which made us late getting to the track, this panicked our Team GB's Manger Steve Harvey . After arriving late to the track i had to get changed in the back of the van while trying to find the track. When we arrived we dumped the van and got the bike off while our time session had already started. i joined the session and qualified 5th. While this was going on Steve then had to sprint over to the organisers to sign me in. This was one of my best IMBA weekends as we finished up on the podium which was unreal in Holland, i was one single point down on getting a second overall as well. I was very lucky to have the support from Ross & Stu and I'll always be grateful from Alan who is Mr 'Drilltec' and DBC Motorcycles for backing me all the way. Great memories not to be forgotten.
