This was the last time MTV and Iheartradio let a rock band (like Aerosmith) play at their music award festivals. MTV will always be the house that Aerosmith built.
no s&^t. when the summer sun would start to warm up the days to the point where you wanted to take off your shirt at noon, we would race home when the school bell rang and hit the skateboard ramps to this song. we would skate to Aerosmith all day, all evening, and all night with the entire neighborhood gathering at the ramps to enjoy an evening of high energy and great music. such great memories.
Seriously, they got old, they got grey, they spent millions of $$'s on all the things you're warned about as a kid - Booze, drugs, women, more booze, more drugs, more women, the rest they wasted 🙂 Despite all of that they still look & sound great. Like a fine bottle of wine they got better with age.... 😎
this is the worst crowd ever. i could do better than that just me alone with no one else around. I’d be screaming so loud honestly and I’m half the age of most of the people in this crowd
TropicalLooms , Well, I attended concerts in the 60's. The Doors, Janis Joplin, Three Dog Night, Jimi Hendrix, Flying Burrito Brothers, to name a few, and we (the audience) were there to listen to the performers. NOBODY went there to hear the crowd sing. No, I appreciated this audience.
Gary Piatt i see what your saying, but you need to show the artists you want to be there. This audience is not showing them they want to be there. That was my point.
I just love to close my eyes and remember back to when this came out
It never gets old, just the band members do!
Who's still rockin' with Aerosmith at 60?????????????????????????????????????
greatest hard rock song of all time.
For sure
its up there
Hard rock? Hardly. One of the greatest rock songs of the 70's? You've got my vote
@@davidclarke1973 huh?
@@jrsdsu1986 It's not "hard rock" its called Sweet Emotion ffs 🤣🤣🤣

I like how they showed 20 seconds of Brad Whitford near the end of the song, there's another guitarist in the band you know!

My favorite head-banger: Sweet Emotion.

I wonder what kind of talk box Joe Perry uses.
+Elsa Manson One Peter Frampton invented
Oh. So does Richie Sambora.
4 years late, but he's using a custom talkbox called a bag. There's a gear breakdown video that shows it up close.

Kick my ass, but I like the Papa Roach MTV icons version better!
