I'm so late. I'm a new fan. A few years ago a doctor put me on these meds and it had a side effect that made me all of a sudden feel extremely paranoid. And it had this effect on me were I would hear and see things that weren't really there. It scared me to death! I would also be brushing my teeth then I would just stair in the mirror and see colors and things coming at me. It was fucked up. I would often scream and cry to my parents (scared to death of the images I was seeing inside and outside my head) and I was saying 'SOMTHING IS WRONG WITH ME!! IM NOT OK, IM NOT OK!!! I NEED HELP, IM NOT OK!!!' One day when I was in the car 'I'm Not Ok' was playing on the radio and at that moment I felt like someone out there is hearing my cries and in a way saying to me 'your not crazy, IM also not ok' Just hearing that song and feeling like I'm not alone helped me a lot.
I'm fine now, I got off that medicine like a week later after I finally was able to convince to my parents that it's causing me to hallucinate. It took a couple days after I took my last pill for it to get out of my system but after a few days I was back to myself again. To this day I'm still wary of any new meds I have to take. I always ask about the side effects (it never even crossed my mind 'cause I've taken many kinds of meds and I never had such a massive dark side effect before)
I love her! She is such a genuine interviewer and it shows how much she loves MCR and how much they mean to her. And I also like the fact that she doesn't have planned questions, like a list of the questions to ask him or something. It would be kinda boring. And he really likes talking to her. Like normal people, not like a rockstar and an intimidated interviewer.
Thank you, I would love to have a chance to interview Morrissey, I would imagine it would be an inspirational deep conversation. We'll see if we can somehow make this happen. if you have any tips on how to achieve this, let me know :)
It's just weird how comments from 6-8yrs ago are continued to this very day. That just shows how dedicated MCR fans are. The interview was great and the interviewer listened carefully to his replies before asking the questions. I love these deep intellectual conversations.
I love how Gerard acts in interviews, he's so natural and has such a personality. He's not cocky and big-headed like some of the more popular famous men. He's got serious charisma.
Thank you for having a real, intelligent, and thoughtful conversation with someone who genuinely cares about their music and fans. I am always extremely impressed with your interviews, and I love that you can actually see on your face how happy you are to be there, listen to, and enjoy a conversation with another real, down to Earth person. Thank you for not being another snobby woman trying to pull the attention to themselves; Every interview just proves to me that it is still possible to grow
I love how she actually cares about the music and listens to everything he has to say and she takes it in and I'm very thankful to her for giving Gerard Way the respect and appreciation he deserves. We MCR fans thank you! : )
i like that idea, dangerous isn't doing drugs, hardcore isn't just partying, its taking a chance of destroying yourself in front of people, and taking a path that others don't understand
I love how the interviewer is smiling throughout the whole interview, it seems like she actually enjoys talking to him and isn't just doing it for her job :)
That was such a good interview, personal without being at all invasive. It's rare that the interviewer is genuinely a fan and interested in the band :]
Peoples comments about the Interviewer : •she makes me uncomfortable •they look so comfortable and calm •she looks uncomfortable •I want to be her •she’s crushing on Gerard •she looks like she doesn’t want to be there My opinion *picture this in gerards voice* : •This interview is “CUTEEE”
If you watched Life in the Murder Seen then see this interview you can really tell things have really changed for G, and he's grown as a person. I would have loved it if MCR kept making music, but I'm happy for him and the rest of the band; honestly, they deserve to be happy
I admit, the first few weeks after the album release, I wasn't a big fan of it. I kept thinking "man, this is just such a change in sound and style...I don't know if I can come around to it." But I kept listening to it on and off It was probably because I just wasn't getting it, I couldn't get what they were saying at first. So I sat down and just read every lyric to every song while listening and then I really started to fall in love with it. I am still a proud MCR fan of almost 6 years now!
Finally an interview that gives an insight into the mindset for the album. I especially love that your questions are formed based on the previous answer, they are thoughtful and relevant, your interviews are always so raw and genuine. I love that MCR never let anyone dictate what they want to look or sound like - a true role model does not shape you but gives you the strength to shape your own life!
I don't care how old this video is but you are so amazing! You interviewed gerard and no single second was dead you are both glorious! :]]] wish you well in everything miss!
gerard gives the best interviews. i've now watched about five interviews with him running about 20 mins. and i'm still not bored of what he has to say. i always learn someting new and interesting about him and the band.
+Avignon Stark I'm confused. I understand the last part of the joke cause it was when Harry was talking to Albus on the platform but I don't understand the other names. I'm also aware that this was 5 months ago and you probably don't even remember commenting this but I'm still curious.
@TasteitTV Thank you, will do! Youre so lucky to be able to interview such amazing people! I want to interview Gerard when Im older. Thanks a lot, lucky :D
I -love- TasteitTV interviews! I've seen quite a few with my favourite bands and I feel like this interviewer always asks really interesting questions and brings out the best in the people who interviews. And there are never generic, boring questions that everyone else has already asked a hundred times. Gerard is a very smart man - it's nice to see someone asking him questions that cater to and acknowledge his intelligence and insight.
this interview brought a tear to my eye, you were really getting in touch with the real gerard. some people just interview him because hes famous, but i feel that your interview would have been the same even if he wasnt in a band, because it was about HIM.. and thats what i love :)
seriously, gerard seems to really open up here, normally he has his standard-answers but here he is really open and laid-back! i loved it, keep up the good work! ;)
Gerard, you are truly inspiring...We all love you+are really glad that you are happy with what you are doing now,+its goodthat you did scrap that other album, because it sounded like it stressed you out.We are all glad you found LynZ+have Bandit,+are still working with music. As long as you're happy with what you are doing,we're happy too.We love your music+the message it sends out to all of us,even if you don't think about it,your music has helped some of us through the harder times in our life.
I swear Taste it TV has the best interviews with the members of My Chem. They deal with actual substantial issues and it seems more like a filmed conversation than a formal interview.
Oh man...there lie UNIVERSES between that awkward 3Sat interview thing and this interview. Just watched yours again, Brigitte and now I am endlessly motivated. Thank you!
I loved this interview. it was so much fun to watch and I loved what he was saying. it's so awesome to see interviews like that without the usual awkwardness of interviewers that either don't give a shit or don't know how to come up with interesting questions. so thank you. :)
I love your interviews! You actually pay attention and understand some of the "abstract" these interviewees through at you. Everything flows smoothly and everyone gets the most out of it. You are very careful and genuine, I love it.
Fan collaberation? Um, YES PLEASE. I also love that he wants people to come up with their own killjoy persona. I'm not sure I can really think of a certain power or costume that hasn't already been done before, though. I'm not that creative, I don't think. XD But whatever his ideas are, I can't wait to hear 'em. And another great interview by Brigitte! I love TasteitTV. You always have such good questions for them. :D
Dear Miss TasteitTV (forgive me for not knowing your name), Thank you for giving such a wonderful interview, as always. I'm happy he keeps coming back for interviews after all these years, and it seems to me he feels comfortable being honest and un-PC with you. Keep asking the tricky/hard/interesting questions! :) Us fans love you for it.
You always make the best interviews with Gerard, the most deep and meaningful. He's the most inspiring person in the world to me, the one I look up to the most and much of what made me sure of that comes from your interviews with him. Thank you so much.
I really loved how the interview was fluid and honest. Thank you, Brigitte; your interviews are amazing and always give me some fuel to my thoughts! xo
PS - I feel as if MCR is a journey. They've talked about how they've changed as people, how the music and message changed, and I think they've been bringing fans on that journey. Bullets was about discovering who they were; Revenge was anger and pain; TBP was trying to change the world and find hope in death, and DD is the attack party in the light at the end of the tunnel. DD is the perfect place for them to be at now, not a reaction to unhappiness but a statement of happiness and freedom.
this is a great interview, its so pure and genuine. it like what would happen if a fan got talking to Gerard in the street, not like a DJ being made to interview him and not really listening or caring. all round brilliant
Hey Brigitte! Thanks for your great interviews. Your questions are relevant, smart and also a little challenging, that's why I always watch you interviews! You don't ask stupid questions that seem to be there just to fill up the interview. You go, girl!
You are so amazing! You campaigned so effing hard to get an interview with him in the first place and he clearly enjoys them. It's nice that you never had formal interview training, much more naturally flowing and insightful than those nasty interviews that ask the same questions a million times over and say stupid shit. It's no wonder Gerard likes talking with you :)
@Lozzithedude wow... if there is one band I believe to be genuine, it's MCR, they don't want to sell some fairy tale to kids about how life is amazing... that is what they truly believe now in their hearts, so that is what they sing about.
I really liked the interviewer. She seemed sweet, she knew a lot about the new album, and she obviously cared about Gerard, the band, and his music. She didn't try to strip down Gerard's words and turn it into something to use against him like some interviewers end up doing. I don't know. I just really, really liked this interview. It's sort of inspired me in some indirect way to continue on with my own art.
As always, Brigitte, you're my favorite interviewer I've ever seen! Much much love. Gerard seems like he's becoming very 'hippy'-ish, as he put it, and I love it. I've been coming to a lot of the same self-realizations, and I think it's happening on a wider scale than we might be aware of. Keep fighting the good fight, miss B!
But you asked him really good questions thats for sure! Kudos to you. Looked like it was overwhelming. I feel like Gerard would be a wise and also very intense person to have a conversation with. You're so lucky. He must be an amazing person to talk to.
Thanks so much for uploading this, I have been searching for this for a long time. I agree with Gerard that everyone deserves to be happy. To be honest, this new MCR image helped me feel that I need to become a happier and more positive person so that my life could get better. MCR helepd me stay alive at first but now they've hleped me become a better person - this is why I owe them everything.
I was there at the London concert on October 23rd! After the show I met the people who got pulled up on stage, they were so happy! It was the best show ever and Gerard really is such a role model:)
I don't know if you're Gerard's favorite interviewer, but you're definitely mine. :) Not the usual asinine questions some people ask. No one cares what Gerard ate for lunch, we want to know about the artist and the music and the process in creating that music and what influences it. And you actually listen and think about what he says, which is more than a lot of interviewers can say. You guys have a great convo going too, which is why I love all the interviews you do. You rock. That is all. :)
This is a great interview. I felt the same way too, like about how the band change from it's darker days to like happy colorful days. And Gerard is very sweet and funny. To talk/ interview him would be something to never forget. Gerard looks comfortable up there, and the interview to me looks somewhat genuine like there in someones house just talking, not like a bunch of unnecessary people just two people talking and a camera that happens to be there. :D
every time they put a new album out there, it just changes the direction in my life.. Last time it was about moving on the hard times, but now in my real life it's all over :) and it's just about living now and they just made me realize.
I swear I could talk to Geraddfor 3 hours straight and not get bored once. He's always has something interesting to say and you can tell everything he is saying is like really him not who every wants him to be. He's great in that way. So is Lindsey. Oh and this is a great interview
New interview! Yay! Out of all the interviewers I watch on tv and listen to on the radio, TasteitTV has by far the best interviews! Everybody seems so chill when they're talking; it blows my mind! How do you manage to do that? Do you ask questions as you go along, or are they somewhat thought of ahead of time?
Amazing interview! Gee is such a genuine person, and him and Lyn-Z are a beautiful couple. I have been an MCR fan since the very beginning and I am just so happy to know that they are happy. :)
She’s totally crushing on this man
Liner_Niner 123 I would haha 😂
I understand
Who isn't
aren’t we all
who wouldnt 😽
I'm so late. I'm a new fan. A few years ago a doctor put me on these meds and it had a side effect that made me all of a sudden feel extremely paranoid. Hallucinating! That's the word. I had forgotten what you call it when you see or hear things that aren't really there.

Mary Hughes glad that you're now feeling better :)
That’s one hell of a story, god damn!
Jeez, it's not like an interview, it's like an intelligent conversation. This is awesome.
This interview seems so natural, I like it, must be the interviewer :)
Emily Chemly nope it’s Gerard😂
Rua José Maria Bernardo 56 Itariri SP
is she always this dreamy or is she as impressed by gerards beauty as I am?
She’s interviewed them before I think
I could listen to Gerard talk forever. And I really love this interviewer.
I know I'm really late but can I just say what an awesome interview that was. Like no bullshitting. Just a great conversation.
Bren K. just pissed myself at your profile pic 😂 😂 😂
I'm really late also, welcome to the club ☺️😂
@blerb1864 @maryhughes6372 you two thought you were late😭
Feeling like you don't deserve to be happy. Wow I really feel this.
I really want this interviewer to interview Morrissey. I think he'd appreciate how insightful and not full of shit she is. Gerard did.
Thank you, I would love to have a chance to interview Morrissey, I would imagine it would be an inspirational deep conversation. We'll see if we can somehow make this happen. if you have any tips on how to achieve this, let me know :)
16:51 Oh, okay. That happened.
**tear rolls down cheek**
I love when he's talking about Lynz

Best interviewer in music. No bullshit from me or her.
I will love this man always and forever.

Gerard look so relaxed in this interview. You can tell that he enjoys being interviewed by her :)

Gerrard Patrick Stark, you were named after the two most musically talented men I know....
It's Gerard Arthur Way. Dumbass
Misty Days You obviously don't get the joke, Grandma. Piss off.
+Avignon Stark
Then enlighten me dumbass
Misty Days Nah, granny, if you don't know Harry Potter you ain't worth my time.
+Avignon Stark I'm confused. I understand the last part of the joke cause it was when Harry was talking to Albus on the platform but I don't understand the other names. I'm also aware that this was 5 months ago and you probably don't even remember commenting this but I'm still curious.
both gerard and the interviewer seem to speak from their heart. I like it, its now shallow stuff. Its nice to know that.
This was really good :)
She made ME uncomfortable and I wasn't even the one being interviewed
I was hoping you'd do another interview with him again soon (:
Your interviews are so good!
Thank you for doing it ♥
Lee SO OLD IM CRYINGGG
I love TastettTV's interviews, they're always so genuine and pure, instead of just asking repeated questions and not caring about the answers.
I love this man. I was recovering from a bad bit of my life, and found some interviews of Gerard. It really helps, because he's so kind and inspiring.
I love the way you interview people! You are good at it 'cause you keep them comfortable in talking :)
Thank you so much! 🖤
" to keep the band going". 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
HES SO. GOD DAMN. PRETTY.
@TasteitTV Thank you, will do! Youre so lucky to be able to interview such amazing people! I want to interview Gerard when Im older. Thanks a lot, lucky :D

Gerard is so handsome and artistic
I hope someday you’ll be able to interview them again. Your interviews with them are the best ones I’ve ever watched.
Thank you!
He sounds truly happy to have found someone. I'm so happy for him.
I loved this interview. it was so much fun to watch and I loved what he was saying. it's so awesome to see interviews like that without the usual awkwardness of interviewers that either don't give a shit or don't know how to come up with interesting questions. so thank you. :)

I wish I could be friends with them it makes me so sad that I can't 😭
Gerard is so inspiring to me, I love him❤️
oh hey a recent comment
hello recent people
hey recentss
Fan collaberation? Um, YES PLEASE.
I also love that he wants people to come up with their own killjoy persona. I'm not sure I can really think of a certain power or costume that hasn't already been done before, though. I'm not that creative, I don't think. XD But whatever his ideas are, I can't wait to hear 'em. And another great interview by Brigitte! I love TasteitTV. You always have such good questions for them. :D
Dear Miss TasteitTV (forgive me for not knowing your name),
Thank you for giving such a wonderful interview, as always. I'm happy he keeps coming back for interviews after all these years, and it seems to me he feels comfortable being honest and un-PC with you.
Keep asking the tricky/hard/interesting questions! :) Us fans love you for it.
The smartest interview I've ever seen ! Congratz :)
Taste it TV is brilliance. They ask the questions that NEED to be answered. Just great. :)
Gosh, he's just so sweet. < 3
😓 I Need To Stop Watching These InTerviews I Just get More HeartBroken Each Time
Well guess what
I love the sincerity and chemistry between you and Gerard!
This was the most touching and beautiful interview I've ever seen. Thank you so much.
You always make the best interviews with Gerard, the most deep and meaningful. He's the most inspiring person in the world to me, the one I look up to the most and much of what made me sure of that comes from your interviews with him. Thank you so much.
I love when she interviews msi
I really loved how the interview was fluid and honest. Thank you, Brigitte; your interviews are amazing and always give me some fuel to my thoughts! xo
you give the BEST interviews ever, i love all of them!!
PS - I feel as if MCR is a journey. They've talked about how they've changed as people, how the music and message changed, and I think they've been bringing fans on that journey.

this is a great interview, its so pure and genuine. it like what would happen if a fan got talking to Gerard in the street, not like a DJ being made to interview him and not really listening or caring.
all round brilliant
Hey Brigitte! Thanks for your great interviews. Your questions are relevant, smart and also a little challenging, that's why I always watch you interviews! You don't ask stupid questions that seem to be there just to fill up the interview. You go, girl!
Taste it TV always has great interviewers/interviewies!
YAAAY ! my favourite interviewer again !!
I love this (: it sounds more like a nice conversation rather than an interview.
Wow, you're amazing. This is like the first interview I've seen that seems genuine. Plus points for not getting tongue tied while looking at him.
@Lozzithedude wow... if there is one band I believe to be genuine, it's MCR, they don't want to sell some fairy tale to kids about how life is amazing... that is what they truly believe now in their hearts, so that is what they sing about.
All these comments are like 1 or 2 years old iM sO laTE and this interview is great
Me too. :[
We are the only ones left alive
Not O F***ing K this fandom is so desperate for anything to happen tbh
Now THIS comment is 3 years old wtf
I really liked the interviewer. She seemed sweet, she knew a lot about the new album, and she obviously cared about Gerard, the band, and his music. This girl is always so awkward . Then again I would probably be exactly like that if I was sat next to Gerard
But you asked him really good questions thats for sure! Kudos to you. Looked like it was overwhelming. I feel like Gerard would be a wise and also very intense person to have a conversation with. You're so lucky. He must be an amazing person to talk to.

This is probably my favorite interview ever. MCR is probably one of the most (if not the most) genuine bands making music today.

She's the best rock interviewer on Earth.

Oh Gerard, every time you talk about yourself I can relate SO much. This is entirely awesome.
