Want to correct something about this video regarding the ST biting other dogs. Like any dog, some are more social than others even if the breed standard temperament is friendly. Temperament comes down to breeding. I digress. Regardless of breed, do your homework and understand dog behavior and watch for it. Dogs always give signs before they bite or snap. Your job as an owner is to support your dog, and to be mindful of other people's dogs. If your dog is showing signs of discomfort with other dogs, or the other dog is not listening to the warnings provided by your dog, that is your cue to step in. Be pro-active. Truly aggressive dogs, dogs that want to hurt, don't give warning signs. They just go, but even then you can see it. Stiff body, hard eye contact. For reference, I have owned three Scottish terriers in my life and they have all been absolutely lovely.
