Absolutely the same method I learned in fashion design school. Very nice, Diane. 😊I never could understand why people spend money on commercial patterns when drafting basic slopers and learning how to make various style lines, collars, cuffs, and sleeves gives you a world of fashionable garments to fit you physically as well as your mood for any fashion era! I love designing and sewing.💖 And my garments ALWAYS fit!!
Hello Jude, Thanks for your comment, it's appreciated. That's why I like to show garment details better than doing a complete garment with you. Just changing the neck the sleeve or the collar of your favorite top give you a brand new top. Diane
Hey you are great teacher ...I find pattern making very difficult but you made it look so easy 🥰🥰🥰thank you for the detailed explanation...can you please show the stitching of the sleeve as well?

Honestly this is the best ever tutorial...wander many guide for precise explanation but everything lacks and vague....kudos to ur efforts and crisp pattern...hope to see sewing for that draft..
Excelente,! Estuve buscando esta explicación de verdad por infinidad de You Tubers y no encontraba nada así como tu explicación Te agradezco mucho tu tutorial No entendí todo lo que decías pero la mayoría si. Y además como lo fuiste haciendo Gracias
This is 1 of my favourite sleeves. 😍❤💙 OMG I am still waiting for that tailored pants waistband tutorial you said you would do last year. 🙆 I still struggle with that and no one on youtube has a great lesson. I actually know how to make parts of the pattern. Just lack some areas of it.
That purple form you have on the shelf to the right. Do you know how old is it? I ask on account of I have the exact same form, And thank you for the many lessons
Hello Kim, My husband found this acme L & M dress form in a garage sale about 2 years ago. I love it, not to use it but only has decoration. I did research, but did not find infos on the company, it should be a 1930 to 1950 model. Diane
@@DianeDezieltoolfully I found mine in Victoria, and at one time still had the label with it. but with children, alas the label was gone. I do use mine.
