Poor from Ferrari this weekend but Max Verstappen and Red Bull were spectacular. Can anyone stop them? Questions will be asked if Verstappen has the 2022 championship in the bag.

This has to be the lowest grid position to ever have been favored by the sports books to win a race. Complete and utter domination by Max Verstappen.

Nope, from p14 it happened 7 times, p15; 1, p16; 2, p17;2, p18; 1, p19; 1, p20; 0, p21; 0, p22;1. So not unique, though special it is.

He wasn’t rear ended, Hamilton messed up himself squeezing Fernando in a bad way ….. ridiculous he did not get a punished for it!

Sorry but there was no shocking decision made in Verstappen Perez overatake it was simply Verstappen being faster and overtaking him there was no team order.

Just to say, max overtook checo purely on pace there were no team orders. Checo just chose not to fight or he couldn't defend. Great reaction though.

Lewis drove into Fernando, slam dunk fault of Lewis.
Lewis also admitted that it was his fault because he left Fernando no space.

Love your reactions but wanted to share that while I agree Checo knows where he stands in Red Bull, he fully gets it. When Max passed him during Belgium he gave him a cheeky wave/thumbs up and that was without any sort of order. He knows he is up against a titan and that's what makes me love that team dynamic. A 1-2 for RB always feels so special in some way.
The guy, Xavi, that talks to Charles on the radio, isn't a strategist, he's the race engineer, so he's like the messenger from all the team to the driver.
Truly miss the leclerc verstappen battles. this was just sad. great vid though as always

The best radio I ever heard the whole race along the race is alonso comments on the radio on hamilton saying he's an idiot for closing the door and didn't give Alonso while he was alongside hamilton saying he only know how to drive when he's in first , fernando is a savage

It must be so frustrating for the other drivers that Max has managed to win the last two races from P10 and P14, it does make you wonder if he could do it from further back. I think he could not pull this off on every circuit, for example on a high down force circuit like Zandvoort the difference in pace will be less, and it is more difficult to overtake there (although Perez did a great recovery from the back to P8 last year). Also, to be fair, Max did have a little help from the safety car this time.
as an alex albon fan, this weekend has been my favourite of the year! Seeing Alex get into q3 for the first time this year and getting that point today felt amazingly special! It has come at perfect timing after signing the contract extension with Williams! The smile on his face yesterday and today was just so endearing to see

I actually agreed with Ferrari’s decision to box Charles for the fastest lap. Even with the outcome will he really miss them 2 points (ie title fight is over).

You mean Leclerc throwing away 5th, his team is not to blame for him speeding in the pit lane. You could argue whether it was worth the risk to pit for soft tires just to get one point for fastest lap, especially when he was hardly safe from Alonso. When told to box, Leclerc said "I would not risk it this time, but if you really want to try it, but I would not risk it." .. and then like the good little boy he is, he does was his team told him to do. If he felt this was a bad idea, why didn't he just say no and refuse? Ultimately, on the soft tire, Leclerc was 0,630 seconds slower on lap 44 than Verstappen was on the medium tire on lap 32! Maybe this was because he spent part of the last lap behind Alonso, but he also got a massive tow from him.
Does having DRS on a track with a long straight make it impossible to defend? Maybe we should institute a track specific DRS: something like a maximum of 2 seconds of DRS deployment?

English people can't start complaining now about a dominant driver in a dominant team. You should have done that 6/7 years ago, for now you all can just live with it. Start complaining again when it is one of your compatriots dominating and it doesnt come off as British Bias!

Never seen anything quite like that. Even Hamilton at Brazil last year took 60 Laps tyo catch the leader..Verstappen was leading on lap 12..ferom 15th..Like What universe is this?

How can you be against reverse grid making the order with the championship points after watching this race? Take out qualy, just FP and the race taking the order with the championship points, more points at the back, less points at the front. I don’t want to every car be the same, I just want the best cars and drivers showing how good they are compare to the rest, how can they still win despite starting at the back and having to overtake everybody
