The little birthday party you guys threw for Willa was so sweet 🥹 Also the way chandler just kept staring at Willa while you were telling the birth story was so cute 😭💕
I can't wait to see this! She is so adorable! Y'all have truly been blessed, and you're going to be the BEST parents. Stay safe, Nicole, Chandler, and Willa Mae.🤠
Way to go, momma! As a huge birth lady, as soon as I heard those noises Chandler recorded I thought “oh gosh she’s in transition in that shower” 😂 It’s so common for first time moms who go unmedicated to have that slow first stage (feels like it takes forever to dilate) and then BAM it happens fast! You killed it, Nicole! Willa is beautiful! Congratulations to you and Chandler on this precious girl, praise be to God!
This video made me tear up. Your daughter is so precious. I'm so happy for you guys! my little brother in ultrasounds also always had his hands up at his face, and the first few months, he always slept that way as well. Love you guys!
Literally watched this video twice!!!! So beautiful 😍 Congratulations Nicole so happy for you, your baby girl is absolutely beautiful in every possible way. 🥲😍🥰💗
5:09 WOW the grandparents look so young! 😁 Congratulations!! Each time you bring a child in the world it is a special, beyond happy feeling. Each little new thing the baby does will bring much joy and plenty of laughs. I don’t know you both, but I’m so happy for both of you. 💜🦄
My hospital admitted me at 3 cm!! I arrived thinking I was going to die and I was only 1 cm- so they let me walk around for an hour and I managed to get o 3cm. Then I got the epidural and it was still like 12 hours before I actually gave birth. First babies take awhile!!!
just found your channel girl and your baby girl is sooo precious! I’m due with my first baby in December and I’m so excited but also nervous but I’m so glad you had a safe and quick delivery 🤍 you were such a trooper and pushed through those painful contractions!! would you be able to share any nursing tips you may have if you are nursing? I really hope to be able to nurse!
So happy for you guys! Having a baby come into the world is such an amazing Gift from God and it's so special to raise them the way God intended. She is Beautiful and you got through this birth like a champ Nicole! Seriously, you did so well. Glory be to God Almighty! God Bless y'all and Much Love! :)
I did the same with my 2nd child... nearly 3 days off and on labor but once admitted was another 5 hours before she arrived but was so exhausted from not having slept I totally get the feral responses... fatigue and pain really flips a switch in your behavior 😄 🤣
I wanted to ask you what your contractions felt like. The best way I could describe mine was…… the Incredible Hulk having both his hands around my mid section and squeezing. 😂 The pain started in my back then slowly went around to the front and squeezed there also.
30 years ago I begged for an epidural and they would not because I got to the hospital too late so if you had an epidural you're lucky because they don't they didn't do that for years ago you had to do the pain
My best advice to give you for an unmedicated birth is to really be able to MENTALLY be ready for it. Is a mind game/ work until you’re ready to push. You also need to find the BEST position to push
God has beautiful creation. He is so good. So good, that He sent His son Jesus to die on the cross for us to save us from our sins. Three days later he rose again and we can live eternally with Him. Jesus saves. Run to Him. God bless. Any questions? Let me know
I’m not here to drag you or your opinion down, but to give you something to consider. I am a 4 time momma and currently pregnant with my 5th baby. I have delivered 3 out of 4 with an epidural and 1 without. There are some pros and cons both ways. Not just the immediate during labor and delivery, but also after birth during the “4th trimester” phase most commonly known as postpartum. How someone feels about medication for labor and delivery is exceptionally personal feeling. She is sharing how she feels about her birth experience (which is absolutely as much about the mother as it is the baby because she is the one doing all the work to get her baby earth side). She went into her birthing process hoping and planning to not have any pain meds from what I can tell and for her, that was important. Some it comes from a religious stance. As Christian’s, we know that natural birth (vaginal with no medication) is how God designed birth to happen. Modern medicine has given us the opportunity to have pain relief and other interventions to achieve certain goals within giving birth. Low/no pain, faster progression (or slower for some), easier (or more difficult) postpartum experiences. Again, I am not here to invalidate your opinion on natural birth versus medicated birth, but in that same vein, maybe you shouldn’t judge or invalidate her opinion on the topic either. If natural birth (unmedicated) wasn’t what you wanted but it was what you got and that is not important to you in your birth story, more power to you! For others of us, it was an important part of our birth story because it heavily influences our experience as a whole. I share my birth experiences with people regularly (I get asked a lot because I have several and they are all very young) and how my experiences went was directly influenced by whether I had an epidural or not. Just food for thought..
congratulations Nicole!!! I’m so happy for you!! she’s precious!🩷🫶🏻

Every women is a warrior even with medicine when they give birth

Way to go Nicole! Shower and breathing and groaning into the contractions was the ticket for me too!
Omg yay ❤
Love the name Willa
9:07 poor Nicole!! 😂😂
I did the same with my 2nd child... nearly 3 days off and on labor but once admitted was another 5 hours before she arrived but was so exhausted from not having slept I totally get the feral responses... fatigue and pain really flips a switch in your behavior 😄 🤣
Aww. We had a 0th bday party in the hospital, too! We had a “0” candle on the cupcake!
I love that 😭
The amount of tears I just shed over a perfect stranger 💗💗💗💗 1 Samuel 1:27 🙏🏼
I wanted to ask you what your contractions felt like.
The best way I could describe mine was…… the Incredible Hulk having both his hands around my mid section and squeezing. 😂
The pain started in my back then slowly went around to the front and squeezed there also.
The noise you made was perfectly normal for an uneducated labor:) it’s actually not a bad thing to do 👍🏻
How long have you been in the hospital?
God bless your beautiful family🙏🏽🫶🏽💞🎀
My baby was the same with his hands by his face. I kept swaddling his torso but left his hands out, and he slept much better ❤
5 secs!!
Congratulations!!! 10/10 recommend laboring in the shower when you're at home.
Get the love to dream swaddle! It’s at target and has babies hands by their face!
Everybody gonna not like me-first baby in 4 hours. She’s 53 now.
30 years ago I begged for an epidural and they would not because I got to the hospital too late so if you had an epidural you're lucky because they don't they didn't do that for years ago you had to do the pain
Honestly babies left unswaddled will naturally want their hands up by their heads.
Hoping for an unmedicated birth in April
YOU GOT THIS!! I know you can do it!
My best advice to give you for an unmedicated birth is to really be able to MENTALLY be ready for it. Is a mind game/ work until you’re ready to push. You also need to find the BEST position to push
Are all hospitals this way?? Can’t be admitted till your 6 centimeters?

Congratulations! Willa is truly so very cute!!! I also adore her beautiful nursery and her baby clothes are so cute & cuddly
