- An Elden Ring player tried Bloodborne for the first time. I Played through Bloodborne's entire Old Hunters DLC for the first time ever live on my TH-cam channel. I beat the game in one sitting in just over seven hours and it was incredible. This is the edited down version on the VOD and the next installation in my first time Bloodborne series. Laurence is the worse boss in the world, there's nothing good about him except the music maybe @@Crichjo32

This is my favorite game of all time. The only one I've ever 100%'d. It is so incredibly satisfying to see you have such a fun time playing through this game and remembering all the near-exact same reactions I had to each of the new areas, bosses, enemies. Easiest sub I've ever made

Ludwig engraved his music so deep into My brain that to this day I always listen to it when I'm anxious and it calms me down

just now completed game+dlc for the first time. Was amazing. Have no clue how but i first tried Orphan of Kos, with 0 heals and 1/3 of my health. Love this game. BTW keep it up luv the vids.

Bloodborne has the best boss fight music though. Gotta love it.
I havent seen anyone mention it and its a little late since you already beat him but the only way to dodge that massive nuke from Ludwigs sword is to run at him and jump behind him or dodge adjacent to him. If hes in a corner when he does it theres a small chance you can still dodge it but you're mostly fucked. He needs to be in the open and as soon as his sword raises charge passed him.
Also during his first phase the safest place is right in his pocket. Theres a blind spot to your left where you can consistently carve into him if you time it right.
The Orphan's trick is hes super high aggression but he can be parried. When you focus he's cake but its very easy to get cocky and die.

i beat every single dlc boss first try except Lady Maria, and Orphan of Kos. Those 2 were brutal, but fun aswell

It took me an absolutely ridiculous 33 tries to beat Ludwig. There was just something about his moveset that totally threw me off. When I finally beat him HALLELUJAH

just watching through a bunch of your series now, and Ludwig is to this day the hardest boss for me in any souls game. Took me somewhere in the 45-48 range of attempts. Orphan was half that number.
If you replay next here’s a tip: if you’re near an edge that’s able to be dropped off of and an enemy is below, lock on and press r1 as you fall and you’ll deal some major damage when you hit the ground

i was pretty lucky with Laurence, was able to beat him in a couple tries somehow. But Orphan literally took me like 2 weeks and my hands were shaking at the end of it lol

Ludwig took me a week to beat, buuuut I was already on NG+5 by the time the DLC came out. NG+6 Ludwig took 45 tries. My favorite fight of the game, though, and probably my favorite song of all time. I’ve listened to it probably 200 times, but it still gets my heart pounding every time.

It took me 2 years to beat Ludwig because my first play through of the dlc was on NG+ 8
I literally fought the orphan of kos so many times that the time i finally beat him i didnt quickstep once in his first face because i had 100% downloaded his first face moves

Craziest thing I got the Bloodborne dlc today and got the platinum yesterday and some how by the gods I beat Ludwig first try 😅
i played bloodborne 7 times and the whole dlc is my favorite area besides central and old yharnam. Its funny how everytime i play or see people playing i learn something new. Never saw the grab attack at 32:00.
I'm planning on playing it again next week.
Laurence is the only Bloodborne non chalice boss I was never able to beat

My favourite game of all time, hands down
Orphan took me 84 tries and roughly five straight hours, but I’d also gone up to NG+6 to show my friend the game, so I was at near max difficulty. X3 I had one infuriating battle where he should have been dead-his health bar was empty, so he had to have single digit HP-so I fired my last bullet… and M I S S ED. He subsequently killed me, and I’ve never screamed so loud before or since. I was even heard on the floor above me. I was surprised they didn’t think I was being murdered. X3

Ludwig took me around a day to beat, two days if you put my first five attempts before the last two to beat him and the rage quit between. Oddly enough, one shot him once he went to moonlight
I do think his second phase is actually easier. I find the attacks easier to predict. Just....don't be anywhere the "Nuke".

I'm going through my first souls experience now with dark souls 1 and seeing you killing those absolutely BEASTLY bosses (pun intended) with no more than 20 attempts really makes me fear you a little bit
