I don't really follow NA scene. But watching them compete in international event, the one thing that differentiate them from other NA team (or other team in general) is their mentality. From the outside, it seems their desire to make a long lasting lasting legacy is beyond believe. They've been able to stay relevant internationally in 2021 and 2022. How many teams able to do that? Maybe Fnatic and DRX are the one that I can think of on the top of my head (even them still strugle in the playoffs). Kru always qualified, but they only have one fantastic run (on what a run they have on champs). I'm rooting for the APAC team, but damn if optic were able to do a double (or even treble) of international trophy this year. I wouldn't even be mad. They really deserve it.
We may not know Hector personally but the fact that his players WANT to get him a champ has to show how amazing of Leader he is. My absolute respect.
