I'm just starting to invest and keep hearing mixed opinions on asset allocation. Some say ETFs and index funds offer great broad market exposure, but I’ve also heard they include underperforming stocks that could dilute returns from stronger performers. Since my goal is to retire early, I’m not sure if I should be more selective with my choices now, or if I’m just overthinking it
I’m nearing retirement myself, and I had similar concerns. I started investing later than most, and just relying on ETF compounding wasn’t cutting it for me either. After working with a financial advisor, I managed to restructure my investments and am now on track to retire with around $4 million. If I hadn’t sought advice, I doubt I’d be as confident in my plan right now
I usually steer clear of recommending specific people because financial needs are so personal. But I can say that working with Emily Ava Milligan has made a world of difference for me. I noticed her strategies are tailored to fit personal goals and make sense for different needs. It might be worth exploring to see if her approach resonates with you
Nice to here about the collecting of books, thought I was alone in this, I also feel better for having them around, I may not have read them all but I have flicked through them, even the title of a certain book can get me thinking in a certain ways and help keep me focused.
Hi Guy, really appreciate you've taken your time to share the physical arrangement in office, and your personal note habit to create personal connections. There are many "established" value investors share their point of view but most of them do go details like you, including the system you establish, the tools you use. These mean a lot to me. Thank you again for your generosity and wish you all the best.
Dear Mr. Spier, thank you for being my eminent living, and for letting me into your everyday life so openly. The way you emphasize the importance of the environment in achieving success and productivity resonated deeply with me, especially the pair of eyes watching you all the time and expecting the best from you. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and experiences and I look forward to applying your advice and seeing the positive impact it has on my work and life. I look forward to new knowledge in the upcoming videos.
A surprising warm human beiing ..i'm impressed by the kindness that you are showing, that mail room triggered something that makes me from this moment on a big fan. Thank you very much Guy !
i absolutely loves this tour. I noticed the sound treatment before you mentioned it. I too am sensitive to noise, and appreciate Vitra with my Eames Lounge Chair.. Look forward to more videos!
Nice to see what has changed and what has remained the same at Guy’s office over the last circa ten years. Great to see how much he has focused on following his intuition/creativity/honing thought processes …(I recall an old video on TH-cam from Manual of Ideas)
Consistent and smart investing is key to building wealth. Making informed investment decisions regularly can significantly increase your chances of reaching that million-dollar milestone.
Thank you so much for your helpful tip! I was able to verify the person and book a call session with her. She seems very proficient and I'm really grateful for your guidance
Thank you for sharing, Guy! There's a lot of inspiration to take away from this office tour. I'm just a bit sad that when I went to the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder Meeting and "The Investor's Podcast" Meetups in 2018 at the start of my investing journey, I was very focused on Warren and Charlie. I didn't really know Mohnish and you at the time and missed the opportunity to meet you. On the other hand, the wisdom and inspiration you two put out there is incredible! Thank you! Pascal
Dear Guy, I can‘t tell you how I smiled, when I saw your paper piles. I always thought, that I am the only weird person that needs this physical reminder. 😊
Alright, I have waited for many years for this, Guy. Thanks for doing this. Tours are an expression of our achievement and I am happy to see you succeed (and showing many like us, light). Not sure whether this is being typically nosy (as an Indian) about getting into other people's affairs or perhaps just a simple way to get inspired from others' lives, but this is something I really cherish. Have always admired your thoughts, truthfulness and forthrightness you've shown in expressing them. Your student, Always.
Vielen Dank für die inspirierenden Einsichten in Arbeitsabläufe und Organisation des Büros. Und wieder einmal habe ich nach dem Video neue Bücher bestellt.
Guy, you are one of the few guys who comes out very candid just like in your book. Its so easy to listen through your long video. I tried that card filing system too hoping it leads to better connections but in the end i just prefer a specific diary where i dump my thoughts. Here one is not limited by space and it feels great to revert to it. Loved your post!
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Brooke Miller.
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families I'm United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
What an inspirational moment. My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to larysa Caba, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.
I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have, making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Larysa Caba. I now make huge profits by weekly through her services while still learning to stand on my own.
I think she trades for everyone I meet. I met her twice at a meeting in Germany and after her lectures from Ella I had to personally ask her to be my financial advisor. she is definitely good.
I have never seen a trader as open and transparent as Larysa Caba with her clients. The way she decides to make a profit for her clients. she allows you to express your fears and she still rests your fears and that is my respect. I don't normally comment on videos, but this word should be included. she is really cool.
I'm new to this and have heard that now is an excellent time to buy. However, I currently have cash sitting in my bank account that I would really like to put to good use because inflation is at an all-time high. Who is this coach that you mention, and do you mind if I look them up?
love this :) I’ve always been fascinated by how the offices of people I admire look. I feel that if I can emulate the office (environment) I can emulate the results. Mr. Spier, thank you for this video, and in general, for your kind teachings. For the past week, I’ve started learning about Ergodicity Economics - mind-blowing! 🤯

I’m trying to figure out the best approach for my portfolio. How did you find your advisor? I feel like I need that kind of guidance

Thanks for that. I did a quick search and found her page. I was able to email so I sent over a few questions to get more info. Appreciate you sharing

Thank you very much for sharing. What a lovely place. And I definitely need a better system for sorting my books...

Love this video, Guy! Thanks for sharing.
We Love this GUY!
Enjoyed this alot. Thanks for sharing
It’s a Privilege to finally see Guy’s Office.
I had the privilege to have a sneak peak at his bathroom.
I found massive diarrhea with tomato skin in it. He didn’t flush. It smells horrible.
Beautiful office, I aspire to become that successful in the markets.
Dear Guy, I can‘t tell you how I smiled, when I saw your paper piles. I always thought, that I am the only weird person that needs this physical reminder. 😊
Thank you guy for sharing with us your private life. It’s amazing to see how you set systems in place.
enjoyed this trip, story, design, thinking - thank you
Great video. Loved the setup 👍
Wonderful office. Would love to see the same of your home office Cheers 🍻
Nice and really enjoyed watching the inner workings. Looks a very busy office compared to Warren’s office 🤔
Beautiful insights and amazing collection of books - hope you also have The Zohar in your collection
Learned a lot . Thanks Guy make more such videos 👍
Very motivating and inspiring, thanks for sharing.
A delightfully decorated office for a lovely chap!
Hi Guy, do you have a reading lists of those beautiful books that you can share?
If unfamiliar then I recommend "An Unsung Hero: Tom Crean - Antarctic Survivor". Cross referencing information and questions is a superpower
Alright, I have waited for many years for this, Guy. Thanks for doing this.

Hi ya Guy ! What book would you recommend on serendipity ? Anybody has any recommendation on this subject ? 😄 Thanks !
The idea of 'anti-library' is fascinating! 😲🔍 Do you agree that the unread books represent potential knowledge?
USM Haller shelves everywhere! A furniture nerd's dream! I have no idea who he is but know he's successful if he can afford all those shelves.
Am just surprised that this is not Guy’s garage 😂😂
Thank you

I’m sorry, but am I the only one who is intrigued by what the huge, tiled structure in the conference room is?!?
Awesome knowledge Thanks for sharing this.

This is a delight! Thank You Thank You!
Very Classy Office. But, you need to have "Mezzuzah" on the doors. 😅

The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $5500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families I'm United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
she's mostly on Instagrams, using the user name
How many years of Alibaba financial statements did you read before making the decision to invest?
2 days. No brainer
Loved watching this - just makes you want to read - thank you Guy

I just looked up her name online. she is licensed with credible certificates and has an amazing track record. Thank you for the message.

Buffet’s greatest fan.
Nearly every video of Guy's has some negative comment about the UK. Maybe time to give it a rest!
Incredible video, what I would give to work in a place like this, greetings from a small town in Argentina!!!
Thanks for sharing. Might clone some of this. Welcome to Finland anytime! =)
excelente! Queremos mas videos! Saludos desde Argentina
Thank you for sharing so generously, Guy.
And not a single mention of his realised sharpe ratio.
he never changes the stocks he buys so why does he need an office 😂
$300m networth? Wonder how long his lease is?
❤
So much uncoated papers and praising paper like a paper-aholic. You should at least scroll through Sylvamo 😃
