Modern, Clean, & Minimal were the words I had in mind when creating my tech bedroom setup. I wanted a setup that functioned not only as a sleep place, but also as an office, thus I opted to create a bedroom office combination. My love for darker hues led me to use a charcoal paint in this tech bedroom setup. I've set out to find not just the best bedroom gadgets, but also functional gadgets that help keep this bedroom minimal. In simplicity and minimalistic there is beauty.
Sidney Baker-Green you might want to stain the window frame and closet door the same color as your desk and maybe replace the light socket with the same color cover you have for your light switch, besides that you room is pretty much perfect imo.
That is real oak with its natural color. Just a nice finish. You never mess with a wood that nice. You'd do that to something like pine not oak.

Painting over real oak wood? Nah fam. That would have earned me a zero out of 10. Oak is not a wood you paint over. Pine is.

@@awwbollocksthen1359 I don't agree though man. Wood elements are used in a lot of modern designs as well as charcoal designs because the blue undertone of the paint is a complementary color on the color wheel. The pallet works. It just may not be everyone's cup of tea

Looks sick. Only thing I would have done would be adhere the led strips to the back end of the headboard and desk so that they’re hidden. They kind of mess with the clean aesthetic of the room.
I didn't do that because the LEDs do not bounce well off the charcoal wall

You should try tucking the light strips a little better so you only see the glow and not the individual lights
The LEDs don't bounce well off the charcoal paint, and the room would be far too dark at night. It was intentional.
This room is beautiful and minimal but luxurious feeling. I remember I had a bed this low to the ground. Then my knees started hurting and I got one I could just roll out of. LOL
