Enjoying your video's and agree with others your editing and camera work is excellent. You don't talk too much, only where necessary and no jarring music. The RE Himalayan looks a fantastic bike and has a many great reviews, hope you are enjoying it.
Yet another great production. I like what you said about the fun aspect of riding bring important and I believe sometimes a bike amounts to more than the sum of its parts due to the fun it delivers. I might go and test ride a royal Enfield after seeing this. Cheers bud
Ade C Thanks! I look forward to riding this one a lot. In the morning I’m off to the shop for my engine guards. If you can test ride one it should be a blast. Have fun and ride safe!
TheRoadRatt Thanks bud! It’s a blast to ride. The big question everyone has is reliability but only time will tell. I’m gonna risk a road trip soon but gotta get a tool kit together.
i realy enjoy this kind of videos, you manage to get a realy nice combination, drone footage amd static cam and mounted cam. i loved that picnic place, realy nice and quiet. Also with grills... damn, that would not last long in my country :( and the country side amazing! PS put a question to the shop owner for me, if he need one more worker in the shop :D
Cristian Valentin Dobre Seriously, thank you very much. It’s a lot of fun to do these kinds of videos. I had a blast riding all over the place, no agenda or story to tell. I am going to try and start 2 videos a week, Sunday and Thursday. One like this and one something else. That picnic place was pretty amazing, and FREE! Hope you’re well, ATB!
i cant even imagine all the work behind a video like that. I realy love that kind of videos, but dont worry i'm not only in bikes videos. i love all your content and enjoying evrey second of it! thanks!
Robert Adlington Thanks! The next time I swing by there I will. They have a roll chart holder I want for my next TAT ride so it should be soon. Appreciate the comment, ATB!
I see you have a NC as well. I have one, and was thinking about adding a used Himalayan in a yr or so. Too funny. I'm really interested in seeing how the RE does with reliability. Thanks for sharing and taking the risk of being an "early adopter."
Norsefalconer Lol, Thanks! So far so good. I’m planning a 3 month update but have really been enjoying it so far. The NC is a great bike and a blast to ride. Thanks for the comment and ride safe!
Helder Fernandes Her channel is SO great and fun to watch. He ability to stay happy through all her ups and downs is amazing. Thanks for the comment and suggestion. Cheers
These are great bike's although only 410cc 4 stroke 24 BHP. but cheap to purchase and maintained. Not highway bikes but keep to the back roads and give yourself more time to get to where you are going.
Chris K That’s awesome. I’m going to take a short road trip in 2 weeks. Not sure where but I have 4 days off. Gonna pick a direction and see where I end up.
Nick Finnigan You’re right about that. Single cylinder 4 stroke. I was all psyched up after riding all day and misspoke lol. Appreciate it, ride safe and ATB
I appreciate you making this video. I have been reviewing this bike A LOT. I love the style of the bike and all the stats and options it comes with stock. I’ve been mainly researching this bike because I am going to pursue adventure riding., I’ve been planning for awhile (6months) on getting a motorcycle license and financing this bike. I like that you made this down to earth video on it cause I’ve been watching a lot of videos of this bike from India and a few from Alaska, and a guy that does videos from either UK or I believe Australia. I’m from New England Massachusetts(USA) myself and I’ve been inspired by all the adventure videos on it but mainly yours cause of the fact that you might be from around my way.(could be wrong) Besides that just wanted some feedback on more of your adventures on it. It seems like your a big guy like myself and I noticed in another video you might of had a vstom if I'm not mistaken. I think it might be smaller but I know there on 2 different spectrums. Not at all comparing apples to apples. But anyways. My thought is that as a true beginner (after doing the MSF course) and getting the license would you recommend it for me as being 6'3" 225? I've been thinking logically on this bike cause of insurance, me being a beginner, great price point etc.. would you go for it? Also I'm looking forward to your 3,6 and yearly review on it too. Nice work. Hopefully in the future I'll already be riding on it by that time. I am planning on going to Connecticut to a dealer in the east coast to sit on it etc... I think it's the only dealer out here anyways. But once again would love your feedback. Think I babbled long enough. Safe riding my friend. ✌🏻
Just realized you had a Honda My bad. I thought it was a vstrom at first when talking about it yesterday. Heard and read good things about that bike too.
Daniel A Farias T Gracias! Parade una motocicleta de estilo antiguo. Dos personas montando? Deberia funcionar bien siempre que las carreteras no esten mal
There is some private land not too far from the house that is free to use for the people in this area. The people who own it do a pretty good job taking care of the trail.
Huh. I've been subscribed to your channel. Just found out about this bike, and lo and behold, you have one. Cool! I think I may have subscribed to your channel because you have/had(?) the VLX 600 (I have one, too) and you were motorcycle camping. Just out of curiosity (though I think I already know), would you have gone on the same trails with the VLX 600, or no way (especially through the water)? Looking at the specs, it's not that much lighter than the VLX 600: 421 lbs vs. 458 lbs respectively. And I suspect I'll have panniers for cross-country trips. So I guess the final question would be, which bike, from your experience, would be better if one wanted to motorcycle camp and go off the beaten path at times and explore off-road, while traveling cross-country?
Nice review, I really like the Himalayan. But the bike has fuel injection, so no carburetors. It doesn't have automatic high idle, so you do need manually raise the idle to warm it up.
Peter Claxton I really like mine too so far. Mine is EFI too, I misspoke about the carb series bikes. I’ve learned the imports in the UK and Australia are EFI as well now. I have some miles to do to catch up! Ride safe
Your video showed up in my feed today. Probably because I bought a '19 Himalayan Non-ABS model 6 weeks ago. You presented some misinformation in your video that I see others have commented on. Not easy Vlogging is it? Better to do it over than to confuse people though when you are talking about specifics of the motorcycle. :) Regarding the off road boots and the shift lever. It is adjustable. You took the time to adjust the mirrors for off road, so you should have taken the time to adjust the shift lever instead of giving up on the safety of a good pair of boots. If you want to see some real Himalayan Adventures take a look at Noraly travelling the world on her Himalayan @ itchy boots.
Itchy Boots is an excellent channel and I follow her religiously. I didn't actually give up give up protection when I swapped boots, both are riding boots and both offer good protection. I had just purchased my bike as well at the time of the video and didn't take the time to learn everything about it as it was the first day riding it. I appreciate you reading the other comments of people correcting the mistakes I made when talking about the specifics about the motorcycle, as comments usually bring wisdom and I appreciate them. Vlogging can be difficult when people attack mistakes so I and I wish everyone had tact and understanding like you. I have since made some changes to the Himalayan as I've gotten to know her and there's a great love there for the bike. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do and safe riding.
Cristian Valentin Dobre Yeah, sorry. I did start filming a video, and have 3 coming up. Taking a road trip this weekend on the Himalayan into the smokies on the TAT and installing usb chargers on both bikes. I started college and it’s kept me super busy with work but ill find a good rhythm. 2 videos a week is totally do able, just gotta plan better lol. Thanks for keeping me on point!! Hope your well, as always, I appreciate it!

I really appreciate the comment. The himalayan has been great so far. Such a fun bike to ride. Cheers!
Your editing and camera angles are really bringing your videos alive.. the effort your putting in, is really paying off. Nicely done.
GTs Garage Thank you! It’s a lot of fun doing it. Looking at the Sena prism tube for good audio while riding, my GoPro 3 died. Ride safe!
Man that’s an awesome looking bike. Ride safe bro.
vac0002 Thanks! It’s a blast to ride. Ride safe!
You always pick the best music to go with your videos. Camera skills are 🔥🔥🔥
Dawn Owens Thanks!! It’s a lot of fun to try new stuff with the cameras. The Mennonites thought I was a bit nuts but that’s ok lol.
Good work, looks like a great place & a fine bike.
Martin Kavanagh Thanks, so far so good
Oh nice, you made a stop at the outpost, I miss that place. Had a ton of cool stuff to look at.
Matrix8369 I got Dad a bushcraft knife and you that pocket watch there. That guy is super nice

A most excellent video. A perfect introduction to this bike.

Interesting: The one we get in the UK has fuel injection (and ABS)…. looking forward to your experiences.

Actually it's a 4stroke engine and 2018 model comes with ABS and fuel enjection .
Amit Mundu you are correct about it being a 4 stroke but mine did not come equipped with ABS. Cheers
Me parece que esta muy bonita recordando las motos de los 70s y 80s. hermano y para viajar 2personas que tal??
