3:40 *File select music starts playing* Actually, it is useful in tick toc clock because if you get a star on one of the moving platforms it distorts mario's spawning location when he exits the level, meaning instead of landing on the floor you land right by the entrance of the level, this is useful because it saves an A press.
3:37 that is useful it can change your position when you spawn back (it's more useful with demos). 4:02 with the BLJ this is more useful allowing you to win with 0 stars. 5:00 this can be used to hold nothing allowing other objects go in to your hand (this is called cloning). 5:28 if you grab something and place it down somewhere and then hold your cap in your hand garb something and release it it goes to the place where you dropped the other thing (the HOLP). 6:21 this is WAY more useful than you think. see Pannenkoek for more details.

That ledge grab with the basement stairs, you said it was slightly less useful but it can actually save even more time during a speedrun including glitches because it will allow you to backwards long jump and skip the first stars in the game if use correctly.

I performed a similar trick to the bomb-of clip, by complete accident! Except I clipped through the other jail cell, and I haven’t heard about anyone else manage it.

The hat in hand glitch is mostly TAS because if you drop and pick up item/enemy at the same time as it unloads you end up holding an unloaded item, whose slot will change to the slot of the next item to load. So, if you were to pick up a box at the same time as it explodes, or grab a bob-omb on the last frame possible while it's exploding, you would end up holding a copy of the next item you load, and could therefore dupe items. Interestingly, a TH-camr by the name of pannenkoek2012 has a series of videos in which he chronicles glitches like these and many others in sm64, and he uses them to push the game to its absolute limits in order to beat it without pressing the a button. It's a fantastic challenge, and he's actually very close.
4:06 tell that to Akira, world record holder for the 0-star speedrun at 6:44.23 seconds. It is very useful in 0- and 1-star speedruns, specifically for bljing into "bowser in the dark world."
I know another glitch outside, I tried to long jump so i could skip the endless stairs, and eventually I normal jumped onto a part of the bridge, the camera freaked out, Mario slid to the sand area of outside the castle (I was where the overhang was) and an entering water that isn't deep enough for you to swim sound played rapidly.
There's more to the Hat in Hand glitch (A.K.A HiH). I'll try to make it simple. If you place a cork box on a bridge, then perform HiH, anything you pick up will become invisible. If you then throw or place something, it will appear at where you placed said cork box, A.K.A the HOLP. Throwing something will appear at the HOLP, and will do the throwing animation (I don't know how to word it), and dropping it will have it appear at the HOLP, but at your height. I apologize in advance if my grammar is bad. TL;DR: You can have things appear at a different location using the glitch at 5:21
DPG I know one of the wing cap glitches in Bob-omb battlefield that I think nobody knows. It starts with the 2nd star. 1st grab the wing cap, then race koopa quick, use the flowers to warp, grab a 2nd wing cap, head to a cannon, fly to the 1st cave to warp, run to the top to the mountain, wait for koopa (talk to him), then another theme plays
I honestly don’t know why I only remember the intro to the “Mario turns into the zombie glitch” from this video. Very odd, but it’s probably because of the inflection of how you said the phrase.
You should do Shovel Knight glitches, there are some really cool ones and I found one myself where you climb an invisible ladder in Polar Knights stage

I found a glitch. In lethal lava land, in the volcano go up to the first bulky and let time bully you in the left corner. You will get bullied forever until you press ZL and thenA and B and A at the same time. You will fall through the fall and die by lava. It's not helpful but oh well
I remember in mario 64 ds I was on rainbow ride and I made the star appear and i jumped to it but I fell and also touched the star so my death animation was the star get animation

That's called Spawning Displacement and it's a Japanese-only glitch. The US version fixed this.

That slope in bomb omb battlefield is totally climbable, I do it all the time. All you need to do is just keep running
Fun fact sorta: If you BLJ on a elevator such the Big Boo's Haunt one if you go fast enough the game will teleport you to a void and the slightest move can crash the game and on Hazy Maze Cave you can teleport through the wall and to where you can get the metal cap.

At 4:22, you can simply just run up there as well. It might take a while to get to the top but it works. Just don't jump or anything.
I found a glitch. In lethal lava land, in the volcano go up to the first bulky and let time bully you in the left corner. You will get bullied forever until you press ZL and thenA and B and A at the same time. You will fall through the fall and die by lava. It's not helpful but oh well
