It tells her background story. Lisa from her youth was talented, her mother saw this, and supported Lisa's dream. Lisa, in the beginning knew only Thai language and a little bit English. Now, Lisa speaks 7 languages, and is an advanced modern day Dancer that instructs other Idols. Thailand, represents only .07% of the world's population. Not even 1%!! But, LISA was able to become a International Superstar. LISA, struggled very hard in learning a new language, struggled in learning new choreography, improving her singing and rapping abilities. Lisa cried from being sore physically from training, and competition at YG. Her youth with parents was easy, coddled and protected. But, when she left Thailand at age 14, and trained at YG in Seoul, South Korea, She didn't know anyone and didn't understand Korean. But, LISA was passionate and driven to fulfill her dream to become just an Idol. But, as a BLINK, we seen our 4 PINKS, their talent, beauty, their passion and drive to do better. The reason Lisa is special, because of the fact that she has undergone extreme racially discrimination. This distinguishes her from other artists in this planet. She has been in the country that has a very hostile vibe toward South East Asians. Many shows, press conferences, or any type of gatherings, she has to compose herself not to cry. Not only the haters, but the media, MC, etc... are sort of problems as well. Sometime, they intentionally make Lisa feels like she doesn't exist by only interact with other 3 members. I think each of the World artist has their own story too. But I think there aren't many artists who undergo terrible ordeals like Lisa has experienced. Not Taylor Swift, not Ariana Grande, not Justin Bieber, or even Michael Jackson, he had his own story, but at least he wasn't consistently had to be in hostile environment all the time.

Hi, from Thailand. I’d like to tell you guys more about her Thai scene background. If you knew her story facing with Korean conservatism fans, you will be a lot more appreciated and more emotional with her Thai scene appearing in this MV. Even she knows the effecting, but she still proud and stand to represent her races, her nation (ancient stone palace is in Buriram province, her birthplace), and her blood. This is why Thai people were so surprising with that scene. It’s feel like she is bringing herself with a bomb in her hand standing in the middle of the enemies’ army.
I didn’t saying Conservative Korean ppl are not good. I think all of us need a nation conservative as a basis thing to push our nation forward, and I want Thai ppl to do so, this is a good thing to learn from them. And I think Lisa respect that also…
What Lisa did was like, the more she faces with racism, the more she wants to prove herself to public, that because she still trust in Korean ppl that has high quality enough to step over racism and shifting into the new Korean era, the era of respecting, the era of opening, the era of acceptance. Looking at one another at their ability in actual. She just little girl persuaded her dream by trying hard, by her talents. And most important, she “respect in being herself”, this is super important.
To Korean people, as I am Thai consuming some Korean entertainment businesses, I just think that this is a time to reconsider. If you proposed to be a capital of this kind of business, you need to shift your mindset soonest. Because how much you want world to respect your cultures, you just simply show how much you respect the world. I saw many good reactions from modernist Korean ppl did, YG is also shifted forward, and you need to follow real fast. Finally, Thank you YG for this 🙏 and tons of nice Korean fans for this 🙏

I was surprised that she didn't comment on the meaning of the music video and how far Lisa had come from her roots in Thailand, to where she is now. She was still formulating her thoughts, and trying to express those things, so her point hadn't been made clear yet. Unfortunately, since the video needed to be edited quickly, I removed a large section where I talked in detail about it. Even in the video, I agreed with her, saying "I understand. That's very sweet," and commenting on the separating line being when the video became similar to a Twice music video.
