Colorado struggled to crack Nebraska's defense early, but the Buffaloes capitalized on three first-half turnovers by Nebraska QB Jeff Sims to take a lead. In the second half, Colorado just broke the Cornhuskers and rolled to a win.
Meanwhile, Baylor controlled the game against Utah for three and a half quarters, but the Utes intercepted Sawyer Robertson late in the fourth quarter. A few plays later, they cashed it in for a game-winning TD.

This isn’t a blueprint other coaches can replicate. What most programs and pundits didn’t know, understand or appreciate was the foundation Coach Prime has built over the years and the focus he has given to the coaching craft.

I’m a Buffs fan but Nebraska isn’t a bad football team, their QB is just incredibly turnover prone. That puts even more pressure and wear on their already good defense and completely deflates their offense.
If they had a diff QB (and had better WRs) I’m sure we’d view their team differently

If you watched any of the videos they put out this week you’d see every single coach and player say (1) they didn’t play their best at TCU and (2) the win doesn’t matter. They’re 0-0 this week and in order to be 1-0 they need to improve (their defense esp, which we saw)

Great analysis guys but you guys are mistaken on one part, which is understandable because you guys cover sports not just one team. Well let me help you out a little. You said Coach Prime transfer are spare parts and you guys or focus on High School recruiting. There is this misunderstanding that these guys are young. They are not, Coach Prime Formula is 40, 40, 20. 40%Grad Transfers (Who can play immediately no waivers required) , 40% Transfers junior or seniors and 20% recruits. That's the part that everyone keeps missing when they keep talking about how many transfers came in and not digging into the numbers. He pulled JUCO or FCS players that where either all Americans or starters and leading their team or league in whatever category he was looking for and they needed a shot at the power 5 level. He pulled from the SEC Alabama, Kentucky, Arkansas, ACC Florida State, Clemson, Notre Dame etc. 4 and 5 stars that played at those schools with crowds up to 80,000 so the 55,000 at TCU or 60,000 at CU is nothing to them, but they were not getting the playing time they wanted because those schools have a ton of 4 and 5 stars on the team. Of the 22 CU starters 14 are grad transfers. He did not have to teach them how to play football or how to be in college, he only had to teach them his system because a playbook is not new to them. That is why the quick turnaround that everyone is amazed at. Go look at the players that are playing other than Dylan Edwards and Travis Hunter who are special on the field or Junior, seniors and grad transfers. They are grown men (22,23,24,25-year-old). They are not spares parts and it's going to be too late before everyone realizes that. Prime is playing chess while people are playing checkers. He has 4 and 5 stars in this freshman class that are on the team, but the formula is 20% only so they have time to grow in the system and learn college life before being placed on the field. He allows the other college teams to teach those kids how to play football and has two to four years of a power five weightlifting program before he takes them. That top 5 recruiting class your team got 3 years ago that is now disgruntle because you keep focusing on the next big recruiting class and that player replacement is now and will be on CU. Coach Prime doesn't want the highest-ranking high school recruiting class, he wants the number one transfer class from your number one high school recruiting class from a few years ago that are now grown men playing against your boys. Coach Prime has an NFL mind not a college coach mind. Think about it this way the rookie the Detroit Lions drafted and is on his first contract is coached up and his body is developed to play NFL football is now on his second contract but you don't want him anymore because you got that next new rookie coming in from College or you don't want to pay him the money he think he deserve Coach Prime say come on buddy I got you and now you have a fully developed player with something to prove. That is what coach Prime is doing at the college level because these college coaches have a college mind looking at the next big high school recruiting class while coach Prime has an NFL mind looking latterly from team to team using them like a farm system for that developed 4- or 5-star dawg with something to prove from your 2019 and 2021 recruiting class.

Of course from your previous comment, they would have to have done to Oregon what Oregon did to them for you to believe, right? Most of the country thought CU would be a joke, and that’s the context that the “do you believe” question was presented in. To my earlier point, evaluating CU against the best programs in the country is a very different standard than 1-11, “celebrity coach”, “worst roster in the country”, which was the preseason standard. Obviously not a joke, not just a celebrity coach or manufactured hype. There was nothing wrong with the statement. That doesn’t change the fact (also stated by Coach Prime) that they need more players to compete with the big boys.
CU has a lot to improve on, but I expect a better showing next week.

Are you crazy! I played football in the Big 12 in the early 00”s. Colorado hast been good in over 20 years and it’s a rivalry game. This used to happen all the time between Nebraska, Texas and Oklahoma. It’s obvious you are just a hater.

Why you so mad? Let them be delusional. They weren't even supposed to be good, but they beat last year's Natty runner up, they beat their biggest rival, they are ranked in the top 25 and have 100% more wins than they did last year 😂. Let them folks be happy.

They were expected to win 3.
      They won 2 already.
The fans aren’t allowed to be excited?
They haven’t had a good team in decades!

Johnson finally got to run the offense the last 2 drives and they scored both times to beat baylor. The Barnes kid is aweful
