You’re doing a fantastic and very useful work here, I love your videos and I really hope you’ll keep sharing your knowledge about flowers, thank you so much
Your videos were some of the first I watched as a flower farmer. The rananculus video was amazing and because of your instructions I was able to have blooms for my friend's wedding. Have been collecting corms for 2 seasons now with great success. Love your videos trialing sunflowers and daffodils and this latest one on dutch iris is spurring me on to dig a trench and throw them in. Your no nonsense approach is highlly appreciated and your expertise is invaluable. Thank you! 😊
You are right. These are overlooked but when planted in mass, they are gorgeous. My plants grew but ended up with just leaves the second year because I didn’t let them soak up enough sun to die back. Hope they come back with flowers this year.
I bet they will! They seem pretty tough. I had a very old neglected patch that rebounded well at my old garden, before the move. Thanks so much for watching! 🌱🌱🌱
I really like your videos! I don't know why it took so long for your channel to pop up on my feed, but your flowers are impressive to say the least. Keep doing what your doing and I'm sure you'll get more followers as time goes on!
I just ordered 300 Dutch Iris bulbs for my cut flower farm and I’m very excited to give them a try next year. I am curious if you’d have any tips for getting the best vase life other than when to cut? Have you tried any Quick dip, cbvn tabs, or boiling water?
I've never given them any special treatment. Picking them before they fully open is best for storage and helps a lot with vase life. I let most of mine open completely for the video, and they still looked nice in a vase for nearly a week. Hope that helps! 🌱🌱🌱
@@TONYAwiththeflowers I’m thinking the ones I picked out of my landscaping were just a tiny bit too open last year, their petals began to drop with within four days! I’ll just have to cut this batch earlier! 🤞🏻
I think it really depends on the bulb, and probably spacing. Many of the larger bulbs that I planted produced more than one flower per plant. I left them to stand in the garden until they died back completely, so I'm eager to see how they produce next spring. Thanks for watching! 🌱🌱🌱

Do they produce multiple flowers per bulb?
