Love your description and designs!! Ty. Happy Thanksgiving
containers looking like sisters, not twins! Just like eyebrows! That made me chuckle. Thank you for a beautiful video, Steph!
I chuckled too!
I smiled when you said you were going to plant a Winterberry, so you have your own supply. I'm planning to plant a red twig dogwood and some holly! 😃
Your son's inflatable display is awesome! So nice to see his Christmas spirit and that he has his own project to take on.
Wow, I'm truly amazed at how this turned out, and all for free! They're absolutely lovely- Thank you for sharing!
I am truly blessed to live on a farm where there is an abundance of greens. Thanks 😊
So much fun to have those resources! 💚
Your porch looks awesome Steph. Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks with us.
I enjoy doing this each winter. I love all your contrasting foliage! Magnolia foliage is so beautiful!
Happy Thanksgiving Steph & Family🍂🍂 thank you for the great tips.love ALL🎉 the festive Christmas decorations❤💖🎄.
I love this Steph! You're so good at teaching us how to create things that I would think is too complicated for me, but its really not. ❤
Everything looks so pretty and festive. Your son’s inflatables are a fun touch.
Beautiful ❤❤❤ Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy thanksgiving!! Your planters look beautiful!! Thank you so much for the inspiration Steph!!
Love all of your greens - I do cut from my yard, but can see from you, I need to plant more varieties! Beautiful job on your containers!
Happy Thanksgiving, Steph! Ihope you and your family have a Blessed Day 😊🦃
You have definitely inspired me but it’s been raining. As soon as things are dry I will run outside and clip away! I love your videos. I always learn something new. Happy thanksgiving 🍁
Very nice containers ! Love to forage for greens and wood!
Happy Thanksgiving Steph & George! Your containers are beautiful!
Thank you so much! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! 🦃
Lovely ❤
Oh so festive , Stef , love 💕 your containers
Especially love the shed window box.
So pretty! I wish I had evergreens in my yard. I usually use artificial greens in mine. When we used to have a “real” Christmas tree, the farm would have a free pile of greens. I would load up on those and fill in with artificial red berries for my porch pot and window boxes. I loved mixing artificial with real!! 🌲🌲🌲
Hi Steph 🌺. You decorated beautifully for Christmas and these containers are so pretty .happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and have a great day .🎄♥️🎄♥️ .

So pretty 🤩 Love the natural look 💚
Your son.s inflatable collection is really multiplying 😜
I agree, there is something so festive about natural greens. 💚 It really is, he loves adding to his collection each year lol. I let it be since he's only little for a short time.
@@HookedandRooted Absolutely :)
Beautiful containers
Looks really nice. I have done this for year but I haven't put light in them. Need to give it a go.😊❤

Love your containers and yes plan on cutting branches today!
Wonderful! I hope you find some beautiful pieces to cut from your yard!🎄
Your containers are lovely. It is so much fun to cut a variety of greens from my garden and make arrangements. The only thing I purchase are magnolia leaves.
Wonderful! Magnolia leaves add such a wonderful texture!
Beautiful
Thank you so much! 🎄
❤❤❤
Red and yellow twig dogwoods are another easy to grow source of winter decorations and winter interest. They tend to become large shrubs so you need to put them somewhere that works. You are reminding me that I have been meaning to prune a Gold Mop cypress -- that will look great in my pots. Happy Thanksgiving!
Yes I agree! I actually showed some red dogwood in my containers toward the end of this video. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
Just an Idea. I love my holiday decorations, and my development does, too. Since I live in a corner unit (1arce), we have this long stretch of grass that, to be honest, is too much work to keep green. I created 4 new flower beds, which will have my blow-ups in so I don't ruin the grass. We plant a few trees in each, too. These will have annuals, seeds, and dahlia tubular. That way, when the holidays come around, I won't feel bad removing or destroying plants. We live in upstate NY.
Thanks for the great idea! That's a really unique way to work around seasonal decorations in a community setting.
@@HookedandRooted I wish I could share pic. It also makes it not look tacky so anyone who might have an HOA can use the idea. I don't live in one but know someone who does and they asked theirs and the HOA liked it.
I have several Arborvitae Evergreens that are 3-4 yrs old…I’m always afraid to cut on them ( unless the deer rut the branches off) the branches and cutting don’t grow back do they? Will this leave holes in the evergreens?
Happy Thanksgiving!! Very pretty planters with one question - what is the length of the light strands you use in the planters? When I check on Amazon they all seem to be so long. Having problems finding shorter lengths. Thanks!!
Hi Linda, Its these lights. They are 100 light strings. Average length is 33 ft, and they work perfectly for these types of arrangements and offer just enough lights to be bright and seen from afar. Hope this helps. Here's the link: amzn.to/416suy8
Buy recharable batteries. They cost more but last forever by recharging them when they die.
I believe you have a "gray owl juniper". I wasn't able to find "blue owl juniper" in my search.
Hi Patricia, you are correct. Thank you for catching that.
